My dog has been going to camp bow wow for 3.5 years at multiple locations and has never had an issue. I booked a reservation over a month in advance for Christmas break. I called 3 different times speaking to Jacob to ensure my reservation was accepted due to them requiring a flu vaccine (which my dog had the first dose of but would be due while at camp however my vet said it would be fine and scheduled him a few days later for when we returned) as well as the location not asking for a deposit which is typically required with holiday reservations. I never got a call from the manager regarding any of this as requested and was assured by Jacob each time that the vaccine was not an issue. I received a call from the manager finally THE DAY BEFORE THE RESERVATION saying they would not be able to accept my dog THE NEXT DAY due to the vaccine, despite my 3 prior confirmations with their location that this would not be an issue. The manager told me that I had “big feelings” when I expressed how unprofessional this was and told me her calling me the day before and not turning me away at the door was a “courtesy” despite the reservation being confirmed by them in the app and verbally three times prior. She tried to tell me that she spoke to my vet and if my dog didn’t receive the second dose exactly 3 weeks later (not 3 weeks and 3 days as he was scheduled to) that they would require him to receive the first dose over again. After speaking with my vet personally, this was a complete lie. I would also like to mention that the flu vaccine is an individual camp requirement and not a corporate requirement. My husband and I both have requested to speak to the owner multiple times due to the lack of customer service and the manager has refused. Thankfully we were able to get him booked at another location. We love Camp Bow Wow as a company and have never had any issues prior. This entire experience is a disgrace to the company and we will never recommend nor visit this location...
Read moreMy dog was severly injured here while I was on vacation. Her eye popped out and she had to have emergency surgery. They took her quickly to the vet and surgery was performed promptly. However, they were unable to tell me how it happened. They said she was "in the back" and unfortunately it wasn't caught on their cameras.
Obviously her eye didn't just randomly pop out. Other websites say the most common cause is a fight with a larger dog or blow to the head. Something happened, but they can't tell me because they don't know. They advertise 15:1 ratio of dogs to staff during supervised playtime. To me, if the dogs were properly supervised, they would at least know what happened.
There is one memeber of the staff, I can't remember her name, who worked in a vet's office. She was very sweet and even visited my dog at the vet after the surgery. She responded quickly and thank god for her, because the other staff "freaked out" because they had never seen anything like this before. Seems like they could use some sort of safety/emergency response training. However, this never should have happened. At $30 a day, you'd think your dog would be in good hands - or at least if there's an accident they can tell you what happened. I do not under any circumstances recommend taking your dog here. They did not offer to pay my dog's medical bills or any discount on the boarding. The vet bills were...
Read moreJonah had his initial interview today. EXCELLENT Customer (Doggie) Service! Jonah is an Anatolian Shepherd Puppy (11 months) and I feel like I/we have hit the Lottery!!! He has Alot of energy and he is now sleeping on the car ride home. 😁❤ Since this was our interview I stayed in parking lot with my other dog just incase it didn't work out. I watched on the cameras and was surprised by how many dogs they had to one person. But everyone got along and the Bow Wow Crew payed close attention to them all!! I talked to other customers picking up their dogs and they had nothing but Great things to say as well. Kristen and Jacob are Angels and very patient with answering ALL of my TONS of Questions!!!! Jacob went above and beyond and even text me locations were I could get flu vaccine (required). My vet said noone had them..... I was also told Kristen had been there over 8 years. So that speaks to the turn over rate (nil to low) and quality of work environment which says to me GREAT CARE will be given by Great Crew to my Great Dog!!!! 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We are looking forward to playing and staying at your Camp!!! I can't Thank you enough!!!!
Jonah wanted me to tell you that he had the BEST time at your camp playing with "the other kids" And enjoyed the bath after and the free BRIGHT collar so my Mom can tell me apart from the others!!! We love you already!!!🐶🐕🦮🐾❤
