I called ahead to see what they had in stock for trail and road running shoes, and Robin walked me through all the options that best fit my needs. She and Charlie know their inventory and understand the logistics of the sport, and so were very helpful in selecting some options to try out. On the phone, we narrowed it down to 4, and once in the shop it was the easiest one-on-one experience selecting a pair. I really appreciated the time both Charlie and Robin dedicated to customer service. Second time visiting this establishment. We were staying in Kennebunkport from Phoenix, AZ. The family owned store has a fantastic selection of name clothes and related products for the outdoors. Name brands like Vuori, Patagonia, Hokas, Faherty, Peter Millar, Smartwool, Olukai, and FR Fly. I found a Belted Cow men's belt, but not in my size. Robin, owner called Belted Cow Corporate office in Cumberland Foreside, ME. I bought the belt here and went there to pick up belt. It was sitting on a table in a bag with my name on it. Having shopped at Kennebunk Outfitters since they opened, I am constantly impressed with the curated selection of merchandise. The owners, Robin and Charlie are extremely warm and unbelievably helpful and know their merchandise well. I consistently purchase all my gifts (Birthday/Holiday) here. The option to have the gifts shipped is extremely helpful. If I cannot get to the store, Robin provides options and sends off the gift the same day as purchased.
