The Creative Soul — Attraction in Kennebunk

I had the pleasure of finding this lovely art studio while searching for a relaxing activity to look forward to during our vacation. It exceeded our expectations and our time there added a special touch to the day!

Upon arrival we were greeted by Dawn and shown around her inviting and cozy shop which we had booked for a 2 hour slot. Everything was meticulously organized, sorted and easily accessible. There were a good variety of materials to work with and miscellaneous tools were provided. We each chose a sea glass craft and had great fun playing around with ideas and the final outcome did not disappoint.

Dawn had a wonderful mix of offering guidance while simultaneously letting your creative juices flow and being hands off. We loved every minute and will have a fond memory of that morning spent sifting through tiny shells, stones and sparkling glass bits for our “masterpieces” with sticky glue fingers. For the record we are two adults!

I will definitely add this to the roster when I visit the area again!...

Dawn, you did a great job at creating such a cute and cozy space for people to come in and paint. I had fun this morning painting my pumpkin and spending time with my friend and family here. There were such fun projects and I love that we could do anything we wanted to while we were there. It is such a welcoming atmosphere. I love how calm it is. The decor in there is perfect. I will definitely come back again around the holidays and for more classes. I give this place 5 stars. I especially love the sea glass art and can't wait to do it. You made it so fun for us today. What a wonderful way to focus on making something beautiful for a few hours.
