I went here to pick up my pick up order. i walked in and asked who i believed to be the manager who was at the hostess spot where to pick up my pick up order and she pointed me to the pick up counter. i am a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment .I was openly carrying my firearm in a holster on my hip. as i was waiting to get my food i was approached by an employee who asked me if i had a permit to carry my gun, because his manager asked him too. i then explained to him LA is an open carry state and I don't need one. he said he would tell her. then i was approached by another employee asking me the same thing. he said his manager was to scared to come ask me herself. i then explained to him LA is an open carry state and i don't need a permit to openly carry, and that as long as it is not posted at the front door that firearms are not allowed on the premises i can carry it there. then he asked if i was dining in because i could not carry if i was...then he told me that they were all talking about me...as he walked away i noticed the manager moved all the way to the other side of the restaurant looking at me while talking to other employees. this is total discrimination. treating me like i am some sort of criminal or something. the manager is obviously completely ignorant to the gun laws. if they don't want guns in there they need to put signage stating that. in one of the most dangerous cities in the usa i will always have my firearm on me. better have it and not need it then need it in not have it. i was completely offended!! i will be contacting a lawyer about this because that was discrimination. i did absolutely nothing wrong ,and i was totally embarrassed. very unprofessional on her part. maybe she should learn laws before she try's to enforce them...(also the mushrooms were terrible}...i will never eat here again nor step foot in there again .not to mention that is an awful area after dark..i will be letting everyone i know about this experience i had here! the second amendment is in place for a reason, and it should be respected. i am a small man i only weigh 135 pounds...and i have a wife 7 month old and 7 year old daughter to protect..i was always carry my firearm to protect them...
Read moreWe visited this new restaurant in Kenner, LA. on Sunday, October 27th. We were seated immediately upon arrival, however we sat for about 20 minutes with no drinks and no server. Our server finally passed by our table to let us know that she realizes that we have no drinks and she is extremely busy. She came back about 10 minutes later to take our order. We ordered 2 cokes, 2 waters , Crab Rangoon appetizer, the Daily seafood special and the fried seafood plate. We wanted to substitute the oysters for more shrimp or fish and the server told us that the restaurant was completely out of oysters, so we didn't have to worry about that. Ten minutes later our server came back with our drinks and to inform us that the restaurant was also out of Crab Rangoon. She asked if we wanted something else. I ordered French fries, that we never received, in the place of the Crab Rangoon. As we were waiting for our food, I see the table right across from us get Crab Rangoon. I went over and asked the guests just to be sure. The lady was so nice she offered me one of her crab rangoon. Our food was taking so long I asked a manager to check on it because at this point we had been there for at least an hour. The manager delivered our food to us. Now, as if this isn't enough. There is a board in the foyer of the restaurant with the daily special and price. We expected the price to be $25.99 for the special. Well we found out from the manager when our bill arrived that we had to pay $35.99 because they ran out of blue crabs and had to substitute Lobster. And it was only one small Lobster tail. We would not have ordered the daily special had we known that. Our bill was $65.00 and that does not include the $10.00 tip we paid for the awful service. We eat out every weekend all over the New Orleans area and have never had an experience like this. We felt cheated, lied to and...
Read moreThis place leaves a lot to be desired. This was our first time trying Fiery Crab and may have been our last. When we arrived at the Kenner location for dinner we noticed the exterior of the building had a nice neon vibe to it. As you enter the restaurant itâs very bright, maybe someone forgot to dim the lights inside that evening. We were greeted fairly quickly but kinda rudely, the young lady who seated us just put the menus on the table then turned around and walked away without saying a word. Our server was friendly and suggested some boiled seafood with seasonings added. We ordered some drinks off the cocktail menu while we decided on what to have, this is where our experience goes downhill. It took over 10 minutes to receive our drinks. As we waited for our drinks and our server to take our order we noticed employees coming in and out this side room eating. Not sure if it was the bartender that took so long or the fact that everyone was busy eating. We decided to get the New Year special which was really good, but the sides of corn and potatoes were served cold. On my way to the bathroom I asked an employee who was the manager on duty as I just wanted to share our opinion on the visit and inquire about buying one of the promotional shirts they advertise. You would not believe that I was pointed to a lady who was sitting in a chair behind a counter by the front door with her head on the desk and appeared to be sleeping! I chose not to bother in even trying to speak with her. We paid the bill and when leaving we noticed she was still there sitting down with her head on the desk, just completely unprofessional. We may try eating there again but we may not. The restaurant has many issues to address, including the...
