Moved our business wireless accounts to Verizon at this location. Staff is extremely nice but there were major issues getting the business account setup. It took almost 3 hours to get 4 phone lines switched over. We provided all of our business information and Verizon put someone else's email address and name as the contact information. The end of the first month rolled around and next thing we knew all of our business phones were shut off. I called Verizon and they claimed the phones were shut off due to lack of payment. However, we never received any payment request because they put another customers information in for our contact information. I paid the bill over the phone and then asked them to update the contact information. Specifically, the email address that did not belong to us. They took the information and told us that it would take 24-28 hours to update. A week later I tried to setup the account again so that I can manage my payments and service plans. The Verizon customer service representative then told me that I wasn't authorized to make changes to the account. So even though they spoke with me the following week, now I'm no longer authorized to make changes to the account and the primary email was never updated. As I sit here, some unknown person to me or my business has access to my business phone service and Verizon is not making it a priority to get that changed. I have no reason to rule out the Verizon store as being involved with some form of business fraud by allowing unauthorized people to access my account and business information. I would recommend not doing business here unless you don't mind your personal information being shared with God knows who and having to spend hours getting it...
Read moreI was helped by Deven and he was very kind, patient, and thorough. I wasn’t sure if I was going to get my new phone towards Christmas, yet I had a SIM card issue. He explained the promotion and helped me to decide which option would me the best turnaround, plus I could get a new phone sooner than the Christmas fiasco that was would be starting soon.
His patience came in when I didn't have all my funds in the same place. He waited for me to pay my outstanding balance and calmly shared that the call support line closed (Sunday closes early!) and we still needed my account to refresh. I almost freaked out because my previous phone was out and I need my phone for my job. He refreshed the account multiple times to avoid me having to come back and not walking out with a working phone, which made me know he cared and not just trying to get a sell, and it worked!
Once we got the phone and my account reflected my payment, we were able to start the transfer which took several minutes after the store was already closed but he continued to walk me through other features and accessories I could get while the store was closed. This really meant a lot because he could have been off-the-clock since it was passed that time, but he was genuinely patient and thorough with me and needs as if he still had a whole day to work still.
I was very grateful for Deven’s service and his problem-solving ability that helped me settled 3 things at once, including getting a new phone which I didn’t walk in expecting but very glad that I...
Read moreI went to the Verizon store yesterday and was surprised by Verizon’s services.
Their contract terms have been updated from two years to three years without notifying their customers of this change. You cannot pay off your phone early even if you wanted to anymore. Before, you could pay off the recently purchased phone without any issues.
I was charged $30 for an activation fee for each phone in store, yet my bill has been updated to reflect a $35 activation fee for each line, bringing the total for activation fees to approximately $65. I asked about this activation fee in store, and the Verizon employee explained that, if I received an iPhone through the mail and wanted to activate the phone, I could do so in store, but I would still be charged for an activation fee. It seems like Verizon is charging double for their activation fees in store and through the Verizon bill and not relaying that information to their customers.
I also purchased screen protectors and cases for the phones I purchased, and the cost of these accessories is outrageous: $51, for example, for a screen protector that easily breaks.
I am disappointed in Verizon and their services, and I hope that someone from the corporate office sees how this is affecting their customers since this is...
