Templeman's is a good place to get quality meats, including having them cut to order (for those times you really want that 2-inch thick pork chop to Sous-vide and finish on the grill, for instance.)
The price is higher than the grocery store, but in exchange, you get local organic meats, Angus beef, and made on premise fresh and smoked sausages. I normally find the extra cost worth while, but it does add up.
They also really do make the best beef jerky in town - it is fantastic! Try it if you get the chance...
I am disappointed that they are no longer making smoked kielbasa, but I buy their fresh kielbasa and smoke...
Read moreWe used to love Templemans and have spent close to $300 in their shop monthly but not anymore....went in to get four t-bone steaks, they needed to cut more since their cooler was out of stock. We asked the guy who was cutting them to please NOT cut all the fat off, when we got our steaks there was zero fat left on them. We asked why there wasn't any fat & we were told they have to cut it off 🤔 but yet we've been buying T-bone steaks from them for the past 3 years now and every single one has had fat on it.
