PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE GOING THOUGH THE APPLICATION PROCESS!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I need to post my experience because I am left feeling very taken advantage of and scammed. I reached out to the BH group months ago inquiring about a single family house. I decided against the first house, it just wasn't a good fit for my family. I was told to keep my eye on their website because we passed the initial screening. So I kept my eye out on their website for a single family house. I reached out to them again in the beginning of October of this year. I requested a tour of a house. I met Sabrina at the house let her know that I did like it even though it had extremely small bedrooms I filled out an application for my myself, received an email to fill out an application for my husband also. Both costing me 25 dollars a piece. Sending them copies on both applications three months worth of check stubs for my husband, verification of other income I receive, a copy of our driver's licenses'/ state ids and emailed them a copy of my husbands 2018 W2s. Over the next THREE WEEKS I was contacted by Sabrina with requests for more and more information, verification of my husband's work start day because when they called his employment , they refused to release that personal information to BH group. Still I went onto my husband's personal employment account and sent that verification to them. After I waited and waited or an answer from anyone I was asked to fill out a separate application for my 11 year old min pin dog. I went out of my way to call his vet make an appointment to receive a copy of his immunization records. Was unofficially were informed by Sabrina I was approved but would need to pay double the security deposit for a house. Not the house I originally applied for. I would need to pay double the security deposit for a different house, the 250 dollar dog deposit and first months rent to have it. I was informed that they called my landlord repeatedly, sent in a separate application for both houses to my current landlord, asked if my current landlord walks through my current residency and rocked that boat. After the second application was sent through to my current landlord by BH group, which I am wondering why that had to happen, I was reached out to about about a walk through for the second house, my husband took an hour of personal time from work to see the house they sent a TEXT MESSAGE OF DENIAL OR DECLINE for the house. So in the end I reached out to Angie in the office and I was told we were declined because of our credit. I remember the FIRST phone call I had with Sabrina weeks before that , she had mentioned she was processing my application, mentioned credit and said everything looks OK. The long drawn out application process is ridiculous and the amount of information need to RENT a house NOT BUY a house it CRAZY! Now this company has mine and my husband's social security numbers, a copy of our 2018 W2s!!!!!!!!!. Info of all our incomes a picture of our dog, called my husband's employment, our landlord, and led us to believe we were going to be accepted. Now we are at square one. If credit was an issue that should of been mentioned the first phone call. I feel this is a unprofessional business practice. I WOULD APPRECIATE NO REPLY BACK FROM THE BH GROUP MANAGEMENT BECAUSE I ALREADY FEEL WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT MYSELF HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED....

This is the most unprofessional Reality property I have ever came across in my life. 1st I will start by saying they got $25 each from Me & my wife for a application fee.. we proceeded and did the application. I called on a Monday and speak with Sabrina who is very rude and unprofessional might I add. She told me that she had received our application and that it was being processed but in the meantime we had a balance of $76 on our credit history so we called the credit bureau and got that situated so she then tell me that she was waiting on my current property Verification. I called my apartment office to see if they had gotten it and to please send it back right away. I called Sabrina back a few hours later and she told me she had gotten it and she was giving the application to her boss and they would text/email me with if we was approved or not before we disconnected the call I asked her was there anything that would make me b denied she clear as day said NO.. Tuesday morning we get a text stating we were denied with no explanation as to why, So I called Sabrina who I have been speaking with for some time now to see if I can get answers do you think she had an answer for me NO her words was I don’t deal with that my boss does and a email has been sent to you stating why with an attitude but I can transfer you to her. Do you think she transferred me No she hung up. So my wife called the Assistant property manager who is Angie who is to very rude and unprofessional as well to see if we can get some answers from her her reason was because we are currently late on our rent because we are in a pandemic Like REALLY they really couldn’t come up with a real reason they told us like 4 different reasons but they were so nice until we had to send a copy of our photo ID and noticed we were BLACK. If you read this black, white, Hispanic, etc DONT NOT RENT FROM THEM THEY WILL GET YOU...
Read moreIf I could rate them a zero I would! I completed a rental application for them and they sent me back an email asking me for further information, at first I figured it was no big deal so I provided them with what they asked. A couple days later they said they needed even more of my personal information, when I explained to them that I already provided the information that their agent and website said was required the agent rudely stated that I should start reading better. What they were asking me to do was provide them with all of my paystubs for the past year for employment verification, mind you this is already after they called my employer up and confirmed that I have been with them for X amount of years. Also this is after I provided them with so many months of paystubs to show them what I make on average a week. Once she made her comment about how I should start reading better, I was pretty mad and decided to try and end the conversation by thanking her for her consideration. However, she just kept going on and on about my apparent inability of reading and saying things such as "you will never find a place to rent from if you cant even read their rules". After realizing she wasn't going to let me end the call in a mature and professional manor I just simply said "Okay bye" and hung up. This company is full of extremely rude, immature and unprofessional employees. It amazes me that they are still in business after witnessing the quality of workers they have. My advice would be to not even bother filling out an application for their...
