I have had an amazing journey just getting enrolled into Herzing University’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program! I got in contact with an Admissions Advisor, Lizzie Vitale and she immediately swept me off my feet! She was very helpful in explaining everything about the different options for the BSN program to me and she truly stayed in touch with me ever since I got in contact with her. Lizzie stood by my side from the time I was interested until the time I got accepted into Herzing’s BSN program and I will always be grateful for her especially since she was my very first contact with Herzing which is so memorable to me! After being accepted into the program Lizzie introduced me to Senior Enrollment Coordinator, Andrew Routt who has also been equally amazing! He was very helpful in explaining everything about the BSN schedule to me and he has also stayed in touch with me ever since we were introduced. Andrew has stood by my side from the time I have been accepted and throughout the journey of getting all of my transfer credits as well my school financials processed before starting my BSN program this upcoming fall of 2025 semester. I will always be grateful for Andrew’s help throughout my journey and he also introduced me to one of the best Financial Aid Advisor’s, Debbie Gannon. Debbie has been the best in helping me understand new school financials that I haven’t dealt with until now and I am very appreciative of her! I would love to give all of them their flowers because I wouldn’t be in the spot I am today without them being such an advocate for me! I am more than excited and proud to say that I am apart of Herzing University’s BSN program! I am truly ready and dedicated to this journey! I truly can’t explain in words just how grateful I am for...
Read moreI have successfully completed the BSN program. Pending NCLEX! It wasn't always easy and I cannot say that every single professor I had was a great one however, one professor did not make whole experience here at Herzing and I choose to stay with all of the other good ones that helped me throughout my journey. I had some amazing professors who continuously encourage me to keep going. They were always available to help me and work with my personal roadblocks. Yes, changes happened and those weren't always communicated efficiently but since I started in 2021 until now, I have seen a tremendous change in things that needed "fixing". The online professors were ALL amazing! Dr. Nudi is amazing and will do anything in her power to help you be successful towards your last year, Professor Winsel is passionate, Professor Carlota Chavez is tough but realistic, Dr. Watkins is tough but she will teach you until you get it! Professor Katchmar comes with a lot of experience and really cares for your education. You cannot expect a "great" experience if you don't put the effort nursing school requires. It was one heck of a journey but I did! Maybe the tuition wasn't ideal but their late schedules worked perfectly for my work schedule. Lastly, make sure to discuss all NSG courses with clinicals because those are not very flexible, I don't think is a university issue more so a site availability. I am hoping to continue at Herzing for...
Read moreI transferred here from another college and honestly it was the best decision I could have made for myself. Herzing works with many different aspects of my life. Specifically, the Kenosha campus although a bit of a drive from home, I absolutely love this place. The front desk staff always says hello when I walk in the door, the nursing staff has been so helpful and always willing to meet and help work with me. And honestly, I’m blown away by the administration (the campus president, the Dean of Nursing, and the Dean of Education).
They are honestly what makes this University what it is. They always are there for you, door open, willing to listen and to be a resource/guide for you, to help you to work through issues your having. They may not be able to fix everything, but they sure do everything they can to make your experience amazing and memorable. They have made such a positive impact during my time here.
I would definitely consider coming back to be an educator after I become more established in my career as a Registered Nurse. I’m grateful for my experience here and have definitely found my drive and passion to work hard in the nursing program. Nursing school is definitely not an easy journey but I couldn’t have done it without them, their resources, there passion for their students, and the preparation they have...
