This was the worst experience possible. Went in the North door of the store to return 2 Amazon packages. Went into the return line right under the WE RETURN AMAZON sign. Waited in line for over 15 minutes. Of course there was only 1 person working. Got frustrated as they kept taking Kohls in store pickup customers ahead of everyone else. Finally got up to the counter and explained that I had an Amazon return and was told by the clerk that I would have to go to the Amazon desk on the other side of the entrance. I explained that I was standing in line UNDER an Amazon return sign and was told, rudely and with quite a bit of attitude, that that was just what they offered. I said you need to do a better job with your signage and was promptly dismissed when she called for another customer. Only then did she make an announcement about Amazon returns being in a different spot. Amazon return was it's own fiasco when clerk told me that both returns were on 1 QR code. I questioned that but she assured me it was correct. After reviewing it in the car I found she was incorrect and had to go back into the store to correct the mistake. I wasted the better part of 1/2 an hour on something that should have taken a few minutes. And got attitude along with that. I will never return another Amazon package there. If you took it on, you should make sure you can support it. That includes knowledgeable staff and a better job at signage. I'm also going to think twice about shopping at your store. There's enough rude people out in the world that I encounter in daily life. I dont need to give my business to them as well.
Ps. Didn't catch the clerks name but it was about 3 PM she had blonde hair and was probably in her 40's. Consider sending her for some customer...
Read moreShopping at the Kenosha Kohl’s and having Cody one of the managers take care of you is absolutely fun in itself! He knows how to do all types of transactions whether it be exchanges, returns, looking up items to find another stores pick up orders, and of course purchases he looks for ways to help you save money by reminding you to use your rewards and asking if you’d like to use your Kohl’s cash and if you have any merchandise credit, I can’t tell you how many times before in the past I have forgotten about using Kohl’s cash or merchandise credit and whipped out my credit card right away . It was lovely to have someone talk me through all my transactions show me on the screen what was happening and then mark on my merchandise credit the amount staple my receipts together from my return items and other stores in the right size and help me get to the correct amount for the maximum amount of Kohl’s cash while still saving , 30% off and utilizing my cash on the purchase as well as merchandise credit because he reminded me of it and he even found an additional five dollars from my pick up order from earlier! The manager at Kohl’s and Kenosha, he should become the general manager! If you have any questions or problems that other associates are unable to answer...
Read moreWent in Thanksgiving Eve around 1030. I was not greeted by one person. (It was not busy at all) I went in late bc a. I needed to find a pair of boots for my daughter b. They are one of the few stores open. I don't know why people apply for Customer Service Positions knowing the hours they will be expected to work. Normally I have a better experience here compared to the Gurnee or Round Lake stores. Not tonight. Not only did I get treated rudely, a pair of boots normally priced at $59.99 checked by an employee with her scanner, which said $14.99. I said great I'm buying them. Start to walk away and she said "Oh wait just a moment. I need to look something up." As I patiently waited she said "OH THAT'S THE ONLINE PRICE" What???? So are you going to honor it bc you initially said $14.99. Now they are ringing up as $29.99. Her response, "If you can't afford them buy em online" Pardon me. It's not a matter of IF I can afford them I don't want to pay $15 more bc I need them for tomorrow. Her response "Maybe you should prepare for events in advance" I had to buy them. However, done done done with Kohl's. I have been a loyal customer for years. Not worth my time dealing with rude people and prices jacked up bc you buy them in the...
