10 years ago I chose to volunteer for Main Streets Adopt-a-spot program and remained a loyal volunteer ever since. The leaders of MSK are fun, passionate, and dedicated. They make volunteering enjoyable and create opportunities to learn and grow as well. I've met some wonderful people and created special lasting friendships I truly treasure! As a member of the Kent community I get to see the tulips I planted come up in the spring or the flower beds in full bloom throughout the summer. Love that I can call someone when I see graffiti that needs cleaned up and miraculously its disappeared the next time I walk by.
