Troy Grille — Restaurant in Kent

Let me start off by saying I was nervous that I wouldn't have anything to give my 1.5 y.o. while I was there because he is the pickiest eater ever. I almost packed a lunch for him before going. He ended up eating all of his and wanting more!! That is an accomplishment in itself!

The food was very good. It is cooked fresh as you order and you can add whatever you want from the extras area. Today when we went in it was right at noon when they ordered and they were swamped with doordash orders, but still made us feel welcome and invited us to sit down after they took our order and caught up on all the doordashes. We tried four different things and tried eachothers and we all liked everything. We got beef sahwarma which was very flavorful and had the hot sauce on it. It wasn't too hot and the flavors were very good the beef was just slightly on the dry side. We got chicken sahwarma. It was also very flavorful and had the garlic sauce on it. The chicken was very tender and cut into bigger chunks. I would definitely get again. For my toddler I got the kids meal chicken Istanbul. It was sooo good. We added no extra sauce on his. I would also get this dish again, but for myself. The kids portion was plenty enough food for him. We also got the bean salad which came with pita bread. It was also very good!

There was enough seating inside for a few small groups. I think there was around 20 seats. I assume seating outside in the warmer months as well because there was a fenced in...

Troy Grille in Kent is one of the best of its kind. I have been coming here for years and the quality they offer has never disappointed me. Variety of menu has enriched year by year and I have always been captivated by a different mouth watering meal in their menu. My favorite dish is their chicken and lamb kebab mix; which is always fresh, moist and tender perfectly cooked for my taste. You will never be put down by their different menu options but the most important thing that makes me go back to Troy is that their sincere welcome & friendly environment. I have always been greeted by their friendly staff whenever I come in. In addition, the cleanliness of the restaurant is also another major reason for me to choose Troy grille, always clean, always nicely maintained especially during Covid-19 pandemic. I noticed that everyone inside works with mask and gloves on and everything is served on disposable plates and plastic ware. I am usually a big supporter of muslim owned businesses, while the food here was good, great actually, and the service was great, i found out that the Tips that you leave on the credit card machine are not distributed to the employees and go straight to the owner, this is unethical and i cannot support that, this is a practice that needs change, your employees were hard working and extremely friendly people who deserved a tip for awesome service, when i found that it doesnt go to them, i of course did not leave one...Fix this. Show some change and i will change my review to based off the food, which is 5 star worthy.

Edit: I came to tip on the credit card machine, asked the server if the tips were to go to them and they flat out replied that they did not. so please confer with your employees why someone would reply that if it wasnt true, all it did was cost them a tip if it were true that tips went to them. I did not assume anything, i asked and was replied to, and dont ask me for employee name and i hope that you dont retaliate for them...
