Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Kerrville

Mention: Tractor Supply Co. Corporate Headquarters, Today (July 14 2023) I called ahead and asked the store (1305 Sidney Baker St, Kerrville, TX 78028) if they had the pelican paddle boat, as advertised in stock. The sales clerk informed me that she went outside and checked, and she assured me that the product was in stock and as advertised on their website. Upon my arrival, I was apalled by what I saw and very disappointed in the poor standards demonstrated by this location (1305 Sidney Baker St, Kerrville, TX 78028) I posted and attached a picture of the condition of the product they offered. The product was not the same product that that the sales clerk assured me of by phone. Furthermore, the product had mud stains, mosquito larvae stains, and cracks and scratches along the side of the paddle boat. Based on how badly stained the boat was and how thin the plastic felt, it’s safe to say that the paddle boat had been sitting there for months propped up against the chainlink fence for hours at a time in direct sunlight and rained on periodically. When we informed the General Manager of our observations, he offered us a 15% discount but provided the stipulation that the discount would only be offered with the understanding that the product would be sold-as-is and that any return of the product would not be accepeted. So lets recap….1) the store provides me over the phone with wrong information of the product they have advertised, claiming that they do have it in stock. 2) the product had been neglected for months at a time, by way of it’s improper storing and untimely upkeep. 3)when I informed the general manager of the neglected condition that the product was in, he offered 15% but then attached the stipulation that the product could not be returned for any reason and that it would be sold-as-is for the 15% off. To sum all this up, the General Manager stipulated the sold-as-is because he knows that the product will not last beyond the Manf./Store Warranty due to it being neglected for so long in the storage yard, on it’s side, and in the direct sunlight. It should also be known, that the general manager never came out to speak with us face to face regarding the product and our experience, and only relayed information through his employees using a radio rather than comming out to assess the situation.

Last time I will use this location. Every time I have gone into the kerrville Sydney Baker street location. Never any help from anyone. I've tried to get help from the center desk but the lady seemed to find her personal phone call more important and brushed me off. Today I drove 80 miles round trip for nothing. Went to store as they said they had ducklings in stock. Got there and they sure do. Heres where the problem starts. Front checkout didnt even know they had ducks, 20 feet away and they still had no clue. Next I waited for 20 minutes, and no one, and I mean no one would assist me in picking out, and boxing the ducklings. So I go to check out mention it to the same cashier, same one who had no clue they were ducks. Same cashier who stood there watching me wait. Still no help. This stores staff is trash. Friendly is one thing but sheer complacency and lack of sale skills. There were other employees and when you ask for assistance they go the other direction. Done with...

My little and I were out and about yesterday and stopped at the Kerrville tractor supply and we were greeted and helped by the most lovely, respectful gentleman named David. He was so patient he was so kind and he truly gave me some advice that is going to stay near and dear to me for the rest of forever.
