I love that I can go to Grieve and say things like "I need the thingie that hooks to the handle on the toilet tank, and I need a new handle, too" and Dan can not only translate my talk of "thingies" and "widgets" into actual hardware names, he shows me the various types they have and the merits of each. He also tells me helpful things like "that is a left-handed nut" thereby saving much cursing and scowling on my part when I install the part at home. Walked in with my 2 year old little boy, about 6:45pm (I’m new to dayton area, didn’t know the store was closing at 7), but needed Sand for a new patio umbrella. And their employee Hank was the biggest help & not only a huge help but a genuine sweetheart. He filled the actual bags up with sand for me, which was a huge help, dollied them out to my car, and loaded them up.
