The only reason I have given them a 1 because you have to in order to give your feedback this place needs to be shut down immediately they are running BIG SCAMS they are very rude and they are thieves so on September 15th while enjoying a peaceful weekend in Branson with my children and their father we had made reservations to rent a pontoon from What's up Dock BIG MISTAKE, and I will continue to let everyone know what type of scams they are running so that maybe it will stop others from being "Taken for a ride" I just wished that I had read the reviews on this place before I threw my money away they rented us a small Pontoon and supposedly they are advertising 30% off on boat rentals if you live in the 417 area code which we did not receive and were not even offered then we were charged a 250 deposit on top of the 320 it cost to rent the pontoon , they told us to call if we should have any problems we called 3 times and nobody answered the phone we came back and were getting checked in he told me its 75 dollars for gas which is extremely expensive but I went ahead and paid it then he also says oh and by the way you caused damage to my boat the propeller is broke you must have went to close to the shore or something which is a complete lie we never went anywhere near land or hit anything they are simply taking advantage of people who they think are gullible then I start reading others reviews of What's up Dock and I am seeing they have a habit of doing this to people 250 per person well that can sure add up huh well they won't get any more money out of me and I am gonna make sure everyone knows not to go here , I wished I had just taken the time and read the reviews shame on these people DON'T GET ROBBED READ THE REVIEWS MAKE A SMART DECISION AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELESWHERE , I have heard Indian point is a good marina, try...
Read moreWe absolutely love What's Up Dock! We have rented a few speed boats from them and we will keep coming back mostly because other marinas on Table Rock Lake keep jacking up their rates and reducing selection (I'm looking at you, LCM)! What's Up Dock isn't cheap by any means, but you get more value and a better selection of boats.
The online rental process as well as signing waivers and doing everything ahead of time was a real timesaver! Check-in at arrival was nice and easy and our attendant made sure we were fully settled before he allowed us to back the boat out of the slip.
We rented a Regal 2000 ES. This boat has plenty of room for a family of 5, a good smooth ride (outside of the natural lake choppiness of course) and overall very fun to drive.
What's Up Dock now rents out their own tubes and inflatable rafts (I don't know what the formal name of the "tubes" you sit down in are called) you can pull behind the boat. They have a few different styles to choose from, but they will add a pretty penny more to the day as well as their nearly $4.00/gallon to refill the fuel tank at the end of the day. Still though, it's better than being actual boat owners and dealing with all the stuff that comes with being an owner as opposed to a once-a-year renter!
This is what my boys look forward to every year and they always say the boat rental is always the biggest highlight of their summer break!
What's Up Dock has a lot of young employees and all are very helpful and it seems like (on our end anyway) they really do enjoy what they do. I would too if it was being paid to work with boats!
We will definitely keep coming back to WUD as long as rental rates stay reasonable and they still offer a good selection of top quality boats and keep on having great...

Seems like we had a similar experience to some of other reviewers here.
We had a party of 5 take out 4 jetskis. Before we began, we had a checklist of items and rules to go over, which did not include anything about fuel level. After about 10 mins we noticed one of the jetskis had only half a tank of fuel left. Granted, that particular jetski was carrying two people, but there was no way it burned that much fuel in that short amount of time. The four jetskis all rode for one hour and returned at the same time. When we pulled up to the dock, we mentioned to the dockhand that one jestki had only half a tank when we started. He just said "ok" and continued to fuel.
Next we went inside to pay the fuel bill, and three of the jestkis were charged a range of $15-22 each. The fourth jestki (the one with half fuel to begin with) was charged $40.60. The clerk said all jetskis started with a full tank of fuel. We tried to reason with one of the managers and asked if one jestki could have possibly used double the amount of fuel of the other three jetskis in the same amount of time. She shrugged saying yes "if you're making extra turns, speeding or the other boats are spending more time idling". That is 11.2 gallons for one jetski vs about 4-6 gallons each for the other three jestkis. You do the math.
After a little more back and forth, the manager refused to meet us in the middle with the fuel bill. This business didn't seem concerned with being fair or taking care of the customer. Would not recommend for any...
