Broadway Shopping Center, home of Fellini Kroger, is always an adventure. You never know what is going to go down. Sometimes funny, sometimes annoying, sometimes sad, sometimes scary. All the time sketchy.
I go the the Kroger daily, and the Taco Bell frequently, both of which I love, and I get my gas at the Kroger gas station there. I used to go to the tobacco store which I also loved but I quit smoking.
I also go to the Goodwill every now and then, and I keep meaning to go to the Ace Hardware more often because I hate Home Depot and Lowe's.
There's also a Sav-A-Lot, which I don't go to because it smells weird, but my friend Kristina swears by their savings, two dollar stores, a vape store which I didn't like, some kind of chicken store, a barber, another thrift store called Teen Challenge or something, a Boost Mobile, maybe a Cricket also, and some kind of clothing store. Oh and an Asian Buffet.
I wish there were cooler things there and the sketch level was lower, so that's why I...
Read moreCheck into cash, Oct.5, was seeking to purchase money order due to rental website experiencing difficulties. As soon as I entered the door, there were 3 employees working, the Manager, a younger young lady, and the beautiful, smiling, attentive, other employee! The other 2 employees, Mgr.and younger girl did not even acknowledge me! However, this lady seemed to be collective, and eager to assist me. Having worked with physicians, as well as other professional people, I Always tend to believe that first person you encounter should represent the business, whatever it may be, in a kind, knowledgeable way, because it truly sets the tone for entire experience. Since the first time I had gone, the same issue occurred w/ website, therefore, I immediately knew where I would return. Fortunately, it was on Oct.5th, Saturday, and she was there alone. This young lady is very career/ goal driven. I hope your company will acknowledge her in an...
Read moreI had taken my Aunt shopping at Kroger's in the Old Broadway shopping center. Very disappointing. Granted the store is old. But it wasn't very clean. Lots of the grocery carts had peoples Kleenex and other trash in them. The food smelled vey good and since it was lunchtime. I asked my Aunt if she wanted to go eat or get something to take home. She chose to get something there. We both got the fried chicken, onion rings and baked beans. Bad mistake!!!. The chicken was so full of oil you could actually pour it off. And then both dinners had hair in them. Needless to say her dog was happy. We were definitely not!!!Big disappointment..Also the prices at this Kroger's are a lot higher. I comparison shop so another big disappointment. For people that can afford to drive a little further, do so. It will save you at least $10-$20 dollars. No stars...
