Worst fast food experience ever. This evening my sons decided they wanted BurgerKing for dinner so I headed to the closest one. I ordered 3 whoppers 3 cheeseburgers 3 fries and a kids meal...easy enough...so I thought. The order was to go as the ride is 5 minutes. once we get it all home I noticed I was missing the fries they were on my receipt but not in my bag. I go back to bk while boys are eating and request the fries this is where I goes south. I was by an employee called a liar "You got the fries I packed them" no I didn't I proclaimed "you're just wanting something free" I get the manager who didn't pack the fries tell me that I got them I say no you were in the back and didn't see them not being packed and never physically touched my order. At this point I'm requesting a refund for the whole purchase I bring the food back minus the kids meal and a whopper so I didn't want it refunded and he tells me he's not refunding the fries or the whopper my son had already eaten. He's not a very intelligent individual and was having a hard time comprehending what I was requesting I said you're losing a customer over 29 cents food cost. Once I tell him charge for kids meal and the one whopper he says and the fries we go back and forth him saying I got them me insisting I didn't I admit defeat as it was no longer worth my time as I was calling my credit card to stop payment. He calculates almost 60% of what should have been refunded and gives it to me as cash he keeps my receipt as well. I ask him if he realizes how this all works a cash refund on a canceled credit card transaction now equals free money. Still I sit here perplexed... irony a now hiring managers sign is sitting atop their counter I made sure to point that out to him he didn't get it........fun times this guy I will not be back but will continue to visit the great staff of the Merchants dr location just at much less frequency... avg revenue gain per 1 loyal fast food guest 8-30 dollars monthly 96-1200 dollars annually (I did the math for you bk manager...I got you!) So that all lost and I have a hungry family who does not like McDonalds so probably on the higher end there annually for me all because 3 small fries... makes sense right.. oh and kill them with kindness does not work for this guy lol enjoying Baconator tonight on...
Read moreIf I could leave zero stars I would. I was placing 2 separate orders in the drive thru and specified that. Each order was a combo. When I saw the total was a combination of both the orders I told the girl that they were supposed to be two separate orders (again). She got an attitude but told me to pull up to the window. When I got there she was chock full of an attitude, being aggressive with pouring the drinks, slamming things. When she finished filling the cups she called the manager over. "HEY! WILL YOU COME FIX THIS!" The manager had an attitude as well. He actually asked me how much I wanted to put on the first card. "Dude, I don't know? How much was the combo for the first order? That's how much I want to put on that card." By that time, I was so pissed at the attitudes that I said forget it and drove off. I've worked many, many moons in the drive thru. Fast food is not even remotely an easy job. I was going give that girl a pass on her attitude at the speaker, I thought ok, people have bad days sometimes, then I got to the window and saw how she was acting. That is her baseline. She doesn't need to be working that window or the front line or anywhere face to face with the consumer. As for the manager, he DEFINITELY didn't need to act that way. It's his job to smooth things over for everyone involved. It was like I was bothering them by even being there. It wasn't my fault she didn't pay attention. It was such an easy fix too! Read moreTerrible, the food was cold. Fries were not only cold they were not fresh or properly salted. I got the correct amount of sandwiches and fries but sandwiches were not made how I ordered them. I got 2 with only ketchup and mayo when there was only 1 I ordered that way. I got one without 2 without onion should have only been 1. The customer service was not friendly although we tried to speak to them we got no response. I know how it is to work fast food but I always tried to speak to the customer even if it was brief. I really believe Burger King needs to up their game.
May 5, 2023, for whatever reason when I arrived at this restaurant the girl at the front register didn't wait on me. She kept looking but I waited until she approached me to order so by doing that she was avoiding serving me breakfast. I was there before 10:30 and intentionally was not waited on so they would not have to make breakfast. I even asked if they could just see what was left and I would order from that and straight got lied to and they said they had not one thing left. I use to work at BK so knew that was a lie. I use to offer ppl who wanted breakfast what we had left of they came in at 10:40am because it was still fresh within that time frame. Actually it doesn't surprise me because a lot of fast food is becoming less concerned about customer service and I see BK being out of business soon at this location.
