Time Out Deli — Restaurant in Knoxville

So I went for the first time yesterday for lunch. Had a great burger and deep fried mushrooms. I was bragging about it to my friends and they wanted to go for dinner. What a difference!! Lady , if you can call her that, behind counter was extremely rude, we ordered two burgers and since I had a burger for lunch I ordered a roast beef sub. It took 30 mins to get our order. I had told her eating in but it was bagged to go. My roast beef was like the kind your mom bought you in middle school. The kind in little bags hanging in the grocery store. It was awful. I asked to see a manager the guy said he wasn't there but would tell him someone was asking for him. There was a lady delivery person from grub hub there and she waited for the order she was to pick up the whole time we were there. If the owners want this place to get a good name they need to fire lady behind counter. She was rude and after snipping at us said "have a blessed day" totally...

I placed an online order through their website for a turkey sandwich. The description on the website claims the sub comes with "Turkey, bacon, provolone cheese mayo, mustard, lettuce & tomato." The options further down included "extra bacon." The total price with fries and a drink was almost $22. When I got my sub there was no bacon, and when I asked for them to get me some to throw on it they refused, telling me it's not included. I showed them the description on their website and they still refused, telling me that I ordered incorrectly and that I was wrong, and giving me an attitude. I returned the sub (which anyway was soggy and not terribly appealing) for a refund and won't be returning.

Edit: turns out the "refund" they processed for me was for store credit, good only for ordering from their website. Shady... Luckily the vendor, Menufy, easily processed an actual...

The burger was alright, but the meat quality was not the best and there was a hair in it. Chicken tenders had little meat in them. But the prices are low, so it was okay-ish overall.

Update for the owner's response:

1. There was no plate, it was in a basket. The basket was clean, true, but I didn't say anything about it.
2. Why wouldn't I eat it? I didn't say it was bad, just not the best.
3. I am saying something to you here, why do you think I'm writing it? Before or after, what difference does it make?
4. I was talking about the quality of the meat in the burger, not the quantity. The quantity was good.
5. The tenders were like 2 times bigger than the actual amount of meat in them. You may call it good, but I've had better.

All my comments are honest, and I'm changing this to 1 star for your inadequate reaction to them. Hope next time you'll listen....
