KFC — Restaurant in Knoxville

Went and ordered the 16pc family bucket meal and two spicy wraps came up to 60.72 at 9:30 pm last night. I asked if they could do half crispy half original. I have picky children. I was told yes they could do half and half. I get all the way home and have all original and when I called about it the lady in charge informed me that she didn't have any crispy up and I expressed how I wouldn't have mind to waited on some to drop. I even offered to come back, and her smart mouth self had the nerve to tell me that she ant doing no more crispy and there was nothing I could do about it. So instead of arguing with her I am leaving a review. First of all two of my children didn't get any chicken because they absolutely hate original, my spicy wraps were sloppily made which was unpleasant to eat. Also, I had to send my son in to get sauces and they didn't have many sauces she stated and only gave me 3 cups of ranch and two KFC sauces as well as being completely out of hot sauce she, no napkins nor eating utensils. Second of all managers need to set an example for upcoming leaders of how to treat customers and the importance of communication had she told me there wasn't any crispy I would have chosen chicken tenders instead of chicken. Then lastly, a smart mouth when you were wrong is just unprofessional and rude I don't even want to eat at a place where the people working have nasty attitudes because I don't trust those kinds of people cooking my food. I have gone there several times in the past few months, due to it being the closest location to my home. After my latest experience, I am now going to go out of my way to go to a different one. I've got a coupon that expires on Sunday and wanted to use it today to take home dinner, but I ended up leaving after waiting in line between ten to fifteen minutes with no service and only two people waiting ahead of me. Only one of the other two had their order taken before I left.

I had one occasion where I went there specifically to get a crispy strips meal, only to be told they were cooking some and there would be a ten minute wait. Which would be fine if it was during the lunch hour or later, because of course they're going to run out of food. But this was within 30 minutes of them opening.

Service is always slow even if the place is empty, and if its rush hour, God help you if you choose to eat there. They usually do get the food right- if they actually have it cooked - but they're just slow at service. I did have one occasion where I ordered a meal that was supposed to come with 3 sides only to get home and find only 2. But I also had one occasion where I was given extra potato wedges for free as an apology for a delay in service.

Avoid this location unless you have plenty of time to waste!

I've only been here twice and had this happen both times place my order wait for 20-30 minutes like it says on the app get there and have to wait an additional 20-30 minutes additionally or an hour the first time we tried this place. Sat at speaker and nobody talked to us, not till the car ahead was done and even then we weren't even served. Someone approached the window not in a vehicle and got their order taken first before us even though we've been there longer. After their order was done then we were finally spoken to and had to wait again while they scramble to look for our order which should have already been done. Normally I check the food right at the location before I leave but they had the bag GLUED shut and I didn't want to risk tearing it and the food spilling on me in the car. Hoping the food was right since it was an online order I was sorely mistaken cuz we got home they forgot our mashed potatoes, but they definitely remembered the gravy!! Thankfully we had instant potatoes so we said screw it and made that to go with the meal. We contacted the app and they only gave us a partial refund even after mentioning the terrible service.
