Dollar Tree — Local services in Knoxville

Can I just say that for $1,(or less) that I absolutely love this store?!? I’ve heard they’re raising prices, which is a bummer. But, while most things are still very much worth no more than $1.00, they’ve added a crafter’s area, & most of those items, could easily pass,(& probably cost) more than $1.00. They’ve got generic branded things, but also name brands. Some kitchen items would maybe get 1 use, others would last as long as anything you’d pick up at a big box store. They’ve also got generic & name brand food, but smaller/lighter quantity. It’s not unusual for me to pick up things I need at the big box store, & the next time I stop by Dollar Tree “real quick”, I find the same for $1.00! It actually makes me mad. Same brand, same size, same quantity...but, half or more off. I don’t know why I don’t think to try the Dollar Tree before the other so-called dollar stores, or the big box store, but I’m going to try to be more mindful of the fact that it doesn’t hurt to look there first. If they have what I’m after, I know w/o a doubt, that I’m getting a far better deal. The only problem I have w/this store is beyond smiling, & saying hello when I enter, the staff lets me shop uninterrupted, & before I know it, I’ve been there 2 hours! Then, I get to the register, & my cart is so full, I think to myself that I’m going to have to bring a bunch back, but she tells me the total, & is FAR less than expected! I walk out trying to think of how to make up time, but proud...

Poorly stocked and only one cashier while Gail and another lady went into the office ignoring the 5 people in line. At least I didn't have to hear Gail playing loud rap music as she whined and loudly complained about people and their children making a mess of the shelves. The staff is much more welcoming and professional at the Des Moines store. They are much better stocked. I'm surprised that Dollar Tree would allow these people to...

Went to my local dt .The store was very busy only one cashier up front and both the manager and assistant manager stocking shelves together . Not paying attention to pages from the cashier for help up front . When I gave up and left there was over 10 people in line ... Very poorly ran store . Most likely won't shop at that...
