Always friendly & courteous, the store is usually stocked well. It’s an older store, with everything inside older as well. Given this, it’s still clean & inviting. The baggers push your groceries out & load up your car. It’s nice to not have to load the car, lock everyone in & find a cart stall. It’s hot, & messing around trying to find a cart return is time wasted when trying to keep my ice cream frozen. The only negative thing I can say is, the store frequently smells unappetizing. It’s sometimes a spoiled milk smell, sometimes a rotten soda pop smell. I believe it was from can returns. I’m not sure if they’ve resumed collecting or not. If so, I’d definitely be more apt to make them aware of the fact that the customers can smell it. They’re just too clean & courteous to leave something like that without cleaning & sanitizing.

This store has easily become my favorite. The unappetizing, spoiled milk smell has long ago disappeared. While everywhere else seemingly has shrunken the size of items, and increased their prices, I've not only not noticed Fareway doing it, but they're doing a whole lot of BOGO or similar sales. While it may force you to buy more than originally planned, when calculating prices, it's almost always a better deal, and buying in larger quantities only saves trips, and that saves gas which is also outrageously priced. I've seen as much as a $5.00 difference for exact items based upon flavor difference only, at a large, well known store. The flavor obviously selling well, they've jacked the price up on, while the flavor not selling as well, is almost half the price. Again, the only difference is flavor. THAT is completely taking advantage of the situation and of people. And, it's enough, (when combined with the fact that their meat is horrible, their produce is adequate at best and they don't have any fresh bakery goods at all) to be somewhere I attempt to avoid as much as possible. Unfortunately, Fareway doesn't sell everything we need, so it can't be a 1 and done, but they easily have the freshest, best flavored meat, and they're the only place I can get certain staples at our house. The big, well known store doesn't carry these staples, even they're so much bigger. And, while I used to find it irritating that Fareway is closed on Sundays, I've since grown to accept it, and actually find it endearing that they think that highly of their staff that they don't waver on their commitment to keeping Sunday about family, and not...

When I go in there it feels like all eyes on me it's very uncomfortable and I just dread going threw the line when the blonde older lady is there and the only one cashiering but on a fixed income I have to shop where the deals...
