Response to owner: we were unaware of the alarm clock until it did not go off that morning so we couldn't have known to tell you. Since the alarm did not go off we were running late and did not have time to tell you about the shower until we were finished. Yes, you did try to call and you did leave a voicemail but i did not call you back. Why would i waste my time calling back when all you're going to do is apologize, it's just a waste of time. The front desk woman acted as if we were making it up to get a free room which was not the case as i informed the lady i talked to when booking we live 3 hours away. As for the funeral i told her it was in MELCHER not knoxville. Now since i assume you're not going to do anything but try to stick up for you and your staff and maybe apologize, no we will not be staying there again. If you're charging that much for your rooms these are issues that shouldn't be happening. Yes mistakes happen, but that's 3 different things in a...
Read moreHotel staff is very friendly, check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was good. If you don’t want to eat at the hotel the Mc Donald’s and Hardee’s is very close. Walmart, Fareway and Dollar General very close.
The room was clean when we checked in. The bed was comfortable, bring your own pillows, those provided are not the best. They do provide 4 for queen size bed. AC was good was good and cold. Of course we were there in May. The bathroom sink is in the bathroom so no worries waking your roommate when getting around in the morning. The water is good and hot in the shower. The shower heads needs to be replaced, the spray is the size of a pencil, so it takes you forever to get wet and takes forever to get rinsed.
If you are older or have a hard time climbing stairs you will need to request a room on the first floor. For some reason they didn’t put in an elevator.
Very clean place. We...

Point of saying all of that is because we were on the 2nd floor. When returning from hospital my son asked if there was an elevator since stairs were a bit difficult. No elevator, no are you ok?, no offer of switching rooms, no concern at all. So whatever that's how people are nowadays, I crawled upstairs and went to bed. When I checked in I requested late check-out, I was told no problem, I asked what time late check-out was, she replied 12pm and I said ok no problem. Regular check-out time is 11, by 10:45 housekeeping is telling us we are checked out and they are ready to get room ready...
