Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Knoxville

This has to be the worst Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to. Took 15 minutes just to get four blizzards and the parking lot was empty!! Then when we did get them they had over filled the cups and the ice cream was running all over the cups all over our car and me. We handed them back and the girl at the window just stood there like what do you want me to do. I asked her if she could just put them in larger cups to hold the over flowing ice cream. She told she could just give me larger cups then handed everything back out the window and slammed the door. No napkins no spoons so we sat there waiting for her to open the window which she did and just stared at us and I asked for spoons. She finally handed some out and closed the window. So we pulled into the parking lot got everything into larger cups but by then I was covered with ice cream so I had to go inside. When I opened the door all the workers ran to the back and started laughing and using fowl language. I swear this will be our last trip ever to this...

Customer service was terrible. The young man that waited on us didn’t even have the word in his vocabulary! When I asked if they had a grilled chicken sandwich he responded, “I don’t know, I’m not a cook.” Then I ordered a sundae with chocolate ice cream, marshmallow topping. He delivered a hot fudge sundae. When I explained it wasn’t what I ordered, he argued and said they didn’t have marshmallows. When I asked if he could remake it with chocolate ice cream and marshmallow topping, he said they didn’t have it. Then, as we waited in line for our drinks, another worker cut in front of us to fill his cup. There was one middle aged woman working with these young kids, and I heard her comment multiple times they shouldn’t be taking breaks while they were so busy—-because the young boys were all over playing the claw machine at one point. Food is good, but I would work on training employees on menu items and customer service. Next time we’ll take our business to a different...

My daughter has a severe allergy to red dye and it’s been years since we have ordered her a birthday cake. We called and spoke with the cake decorator and she said that she could make her an ice cream cake and she’s never been able to have any color on anything she eats but blue, so we’ve either had a boring cake or pies for her birthday in the past. She has alot of colors that didn’t have red dye in them and she was able to make a BEAUTIFUL cake for my daughter! I cried when I seen her cake and I knew my daughter would love it, which she did! And when we all were eating it, all we heard from everyone was about how good it was! They guaranteed themselves our business from now on!! One of the BEST experiences so far and everyone was so nice when we were there both times. It was nice and clean inside the store and the customer service was top notch!!
