We have been to the festival about 6 different years. This year was the worst for food! The gyro meat was dried out. The pita was hard on the edges could barely bite thru it, the pastitio had very minimal sauce and cheese/cream on the top-and was barely luke warm. The spanokopita was very tough crust. The loukemades were the worst!! They were hard from being fried so long, there was nothing to it - but like a shell and it was hard and crunchy. The baklava was just ok. Read moreI always have a great time at the Greek Festival. It is held every year over the weekend, Fri-Sun. The schedule is posted online: There is Greek Dancing, Cooking Shows, Tours and lots of delicious Greek Food. There is also a small bazaar on site.
Parking is at a lot down the street by the shopping center. It is a short walk but they also provided a free shuttle service. Entry fee is a few dollars and they take CC OR cash.
I always grab some of the tasty baked goodies when I'm there. I love their Baklava. For my meal I always grab the lamb dinner. Best lamb in town. Too bad I only get it once a year. Guess that is one way to get me coming...
Read moreKid friendly, music, dance, and lots of your typical Greek food. Don't expect anything too out there. It's for the masses. Pizza is like something you would get from a frozen food aisle. But the cheap stuff - soooo meh ;) Go for the souvlaki instead. It's way better.
