WOW. My husband and I have been so pleasantly surprised by Fai Thai. We drove past them several times and then we made it a point to stop in. The set up of the place is abit different than some, but I found it didn’t matter because the lady at the front was so welcoming and gave us menus and basically explained that we can read the menu, then order and sit down. We got serviced by their rolling robot!!! We love Thai food, and go to places in Sevierville and Gatlinburg for our fix usually, but now we will be going out of way for this place. The food was INCREDIBLE!! I loved that i asked for things to made vegan and wasn’t treated like I was an inconvenience, but it was actually a pleasure for them. The food has sooo much flavor, deep spices, creamy… amazing in all the right ways. We had the Tom Kah soup, massaman curry, drunken noodles, spring rolls, mango sticky rice and a Thai tea. All of that was $63 and we took leftovers home. Yeah we were extremely happy! Let me mention again how sweet the people are here. They profusely thanked us for stopping by and they were so happy that we thoroughly enjoyed the food so much. It was an incredible experience and we will be back so many times, this I know! It really makes a difference when you are welcomed by people and thanked. We do not get this level of service at most places. A lot of times you are treated as an inconvenience. Do yourself a favor and go check this...

Who doesn't love great Thai food? I love it so much that I missed the shopping center entrance and had to make the loop around Sutherland Ave then back to Kingston Pike. I've heard about Fai Thai and the great reviews, but I had to try it out myself. Upon entering the restaurant, the owner noticed me looking at the menu on the wall. She immediately greeted me and asked if I was dining or taking out. I had time, I was dining in. I placed my order (Pha Thai w/chicken – No spice) and then sat at table 5. I noticed a QR code for the menu on the table - HELLO! You can view the menu, order, and pay at your table's convenience. This is the first I've seen this; very smart! My food was brought out within a reasonable amount of time since it was cooked upon order. My dish looked amazing, there was enough food for two people! The taste was perfect, will add a little spice on my next trip. I always taste a new dish with no spice to taste the seasoning blends. Overall, Fai Thai did not disappoint me. The reviews are spot on, excellent restaurant, excellent service! Keep in mind that Fai Thai only has one menu. There are no lunch specials. Will I be back? Yes! I can’t wait to try...

Ok so let me say, my initial motivation for going here was to see the robot that delivers the food. This is a bright and modern looking spot in a plaza. You can order at the counter or use the QR code at the table to order. It was a comfortable place with tables and booths and I was greeted warmly when I arrived. You do have to get your own water, chopsticks, leftover containers, napkins, etc. It wasn’t crowded and I was asked if I wanted ice water and it was brought to my table. I also needed a fork and had to ask. So it’s not a traditional sit down type of place, if that’s what you’re expecting. I ordered a gyoza appetizer to start. It was ok, I like a bit more filling and a slightly more chewy wrapper. These were more crisp on the outside and the filling was a bit sparse. I got pad Thai with tofu for my meal. It was a really large portion and tasted hot and fresh. I like my pad Thai a bit more sour/acidic. This version was on the sweeter, saltier side. It was still tasty and I had enough to eat twice more at home since I'd had an appetizer. This was an affordable meal that satisfied my need for noodles! The robot was even cuter than I expected so that was...
