DosBros Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Knoxville

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. It had been suggested that I try this place, which I hadn't before, as I was looking for new places to cater events. I typically patronize their competition for such orders as well.

Additionally, as someone on a keto diet, I ordered a burrito bowl without rice and asked for a little extra chicken to make up for the missing rice. The server gave me a very small portion of chicken, and when I asked for a bit more, I was told it would cost extra. I explained that I was already paying for the rice, which I wasn't getting, but the manager made a big fuss about why even a few extra pieces of chicken would cost more.

The manager was not customer-friendly and seemed indifferent to my concerns. I ended up feeling penalized for my dietary choices. For those on keto or any specific diet, I recommend going to a competitor who won't nickel and dime you for a few extra pieces of chicken.

The manager clearly didn’t recognize the long time value (LTV) of the customer & took a shoulder shrug attitude. Not a great first time experience. Customer service is key, and unfortunately, this place falls short.

I've always enjoyed this place until today. The manager was unbelievably rude to me due to his miscommunication and made a small scene. I ordered my meal, paid (even tipped which I shouldn't have considering the treatment I received) and was told they'd bring it out to me because they cooking the quesadilla. I went to get my drink and sat down for all of a minute when I hear "sir... sir" very angrily. I looked up and the manager was holding my tray and was halfway to me but decided he wasn't going to bring it any further (all of 10 feet to me). I was confused at this point as to why he was angry and scolding me and walked to him to pick it up. He sneered at me as I asked what the problem was. I'm still fuming about this an hour later. This manager has rotten attitude and is going to be a cancer to this location. And to top it off, there was music being played with constant profanity. It was at a low level, but still audible and was throughout the restaurant. I'll never eat here again and will advise everyone I know to avoid this place as well...

Visit other locations very frequently however should have acknowledged the warning at the front door upon arrival ( 2 roaches ). We arrived about 15 mins after opening to get lunch. Ordered food and was treated like we were a bother to them for even coming in. They barely put any of the items in the bowls. Tiny scoop portions and charged me for chips, when they always come with your meal for free. Also charged me for extras but couldn’t explain what or why I was charged $50 for 2 bowls with no added extras. Didn’t argue as there is no point plus he walked away and ignored us as I tried asking why it was so much. Went to the restroom before leaving only to find more dead roaches. Will not visit this location ever again. Also the food quality here was terrible. Meats cold , rice hard as a rock and the guacamole was slimy and brown.
