I have been here a couple of times before and have had great experiences in the past. Today was a complete letdown. I was really looking forward to my lunch and ordered ahead on GrubHub. When I got there to pick it up it wasn't ready yet and the girl behind the counter rudely informed me that she was about to start working on it, so I sat down and waited.
It took a few minutes for her to get my food made for some reason. There was a customer that came in a couple of minutes after me that got her food made and was gone before mine was even ready.
Then, I finally get my food, put a tip in the jar (btw the proper words when someone gives you a tip or even just visits your establishment are "Thank You").
So I get my food home and realize that the little girl behind the counter has made my order however she wanted to make it.
Not once did she inform me they were out of anything. She just crossed it off on my receipt after the order was made. She substituted chicken for the salmon they were apparently out of. What kind of sub is that? First, she could have asked. Second the sub should've been extra shrimp or tuna. She also added jalapenos to my bowl when I didn't order them!
On top of everything else, the quality of the food is absolutely terrible! Definitely nothing like I had experienced in the past. I was supposed to have 4 meats and ended up with very little meat at all. About 3-4 pieces of each.
I am not happy at all and probably won't be back after this experience. Absolutely horrible!

Read moreUpdate: After leaving this review the owner called me immediately and rectified the situation. He was more than apologetic. My messages had accidentally slipped through the cracks as the GM had an emergency and wasn't able to get back to me sooner. I understand things happen and bones are clear and thin and I'm sure can easily be missed. My biggest concern was the lack of an apology on their part but now I see it wasn't them ignoring a customer, it was just a simple mistake. After speaking to the owner I'd definitely revisit the location and say they definitely have good customer service.
BONE IN MY SALMON
Last week my husband picked me up a salmon poke bowl from here. I was so excited being that the reviews are so good and I'm pregnant and constantly craving salmon. Within the first couple bites I was greeted by a large bone inside one of my salmon pieces. I've never had this happen when eating salmon from a sushi or poke place. I immediately stopped eating it because I didn't want to encounter anymore bones and being pregnant the idea of swallowing a fish bone doesn't sound like a great position to be in. I called the store and they said they would let a manager know and have them call me back. That was Monday last week. No one called me back so I called again on Friday and again left my phone number and was told the manager would call me back. Read moreIve been a fan for some time now of Pokeworks, however this last trip was a bit frustrating and disappointing.
Let me note, that on the usual day, the staff is extremely friendly and the food is great.
I went in because I had a certificate to spend, and wanted to use it before it expired , but their machine for the rewards account was down. Really a bummer because that was the main reason I came in and ordered what I did. When I asked if there was anything they could do, they said in a matter of fact tone that there was nothing they could do. It wouldnt have bothered me as much as it did, until they said they could get a manager, but made it seem like it was too much of a hassle. One was apologetic at the end, and offered to take my name, but it just didnt feel right. The employees looked a bit unhappy Im sure it might have just been a rough day for them, since usually the staff has been super nice, and I didnt want to cause a scene, so I paid for it and left.
Either way, the food was alright, but not as good as usual because the tuna was a bit on the chewy side for some reason. No date on when the scanner or whatever is so just be wary if you use the rewards app. They wont be able to help you out with it until it is fixed.
Looking back, I wish I could have spoken to the manager.
