lululemon — Local services in Knoxville

This was my first time visiting this location. I arrived right around 10 when they opened. I was greeted by a gentlemen at the front, who also greeted another customer. He helped that customer first. I was in search of something particular, so I was waiting to get help from another employee. I had to wait while two employees (a male and female) finished their personal conversation before I could get assistance. The guy was very dismissive of my question and clearly should not be in sales as he rudely said “no, we don’t have that” and walked away from me. The young lady was a little more helpful in explaining they didn’t have the piece I was looking for today. Lululemon is not an inexpensive brand. For I spend on clothing at lululemon, I expect a higher caliber of customer service and attentiveness. I went to LuLu for the first time, never having owned their products. I expected to go in and try some things on to decide if it was worth the money and to figure out my size in case I wanted to shop online. Instead, I ended up purchasing bottoms and a sports bra combo that I love, thanks to Courtney. She was the outside perspective I needed, offering helpful and friendly input and making sure I would go with the the size that fit right and syle/fabric which served my purpose. Every time she brought a new short to the fitting room, it was a different color; I ended up with something I would have never picked for myself, but that was really exactly what I wanted. It was like having an oddly motivated and knowledgeable girlfriend outside the fitting room door. ATROCIOUS hemming service: multiple pairs of leggings completely ruined— contractor incapable of even sewing seams in a straight line. But even worse was fabric bunched up in multiple places within the seams, creating major unsightly creases ALL around the bottoms. Multiple employees have confirmed there have been multiple complaints re quality of hemming and but that they still use the same contractor. Proceed with utmost caution if requiring hemming, and I’d urge you to discuss in advance how the store will handle your potentially ruined/defaced leggings should their hemming service result in that condition.
