We've shopped at 3 different Ollie's. Each one has had issues but this was by far the worst. Signs all over a large display area advertising the price of items as 75% off. Even though there wasn't an excessive amount of items I spent most of the limited time we had for shopping choosing what I wanted at that display. It was a choice to go here instead of another store I wanted to go to. I was happy to have found some of them. I get to the register and she said those items aren't on sale any longer. I thought she was kidding. She said she'd overridden the prices earlier for a customer and the manager on duty told her she shouldn't have as items weren't on sale. She sounded as if he hadn't been pleased she had done that. She did contact him for my purchase. He said no for my purchase. Then why have the items priced as on sale if they're not!! Take the multiple signs down. Signs all over. Not doing your job properly! Not only should the signs have been taken down before opening that day, they should have been taken down after she had overridden the prices for the first customer. I was so mad I almost put my entire cart back. Thinking back I should have. Make it a $100 loss. He wasn't a pleasant person either and apparently has no concept of managing a store. Why would I want to waste time shopping at a place to have to return items at the check out? Why would anybody? This last Ollie's shopping experience has probably confirmed crossing off all Ollie's stores as a place to even consider shopping. Why waste time at an Ollie's when other stores have comparable prices and better...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me see... I love the books section ots amazing. I've almost completed the book part of my Christmas shopping. And Jose was great, he helped my find 2 other Christmas presents. But all that went down the drainn when a senior employee named Kelly decided to be hateful to myself and to the customer in front of me. This man did not want a rewards card she got mad, then when I got up there I told her the same thing , she told Jose at the next register that he needed to come "check out this lady". So, she was mad and very rude to me when I didn't want a rewards card either. I told Jose that she was mad at me and she needed better custo.er setvice training and a nucer attack. He (Jise,) agreed with me an told me she got mad at him when he told her that the reason her receipts weren't printing was because she had turned off the printer. Kelly was rude and hateful. Not a very good impression for customers to see.
I'll likely go back in but I won't allow Kelly to wait on me. Shes hateful and has a terrible attitude...
