What a wonderful place, even on a cooler day like today! So much to look at, clean, apple tasting before you buy. They were selling all different varieties of apples, pumpinks, gourds and mini pumpkins, and so much more. Even had some holiday decorations they were bringing out (late October). Bauer's had a plethora of plants, both annuals and perenials, also pots and pots and pots! Flowers on sale, not the pots however. I always have success at Bauer's. Sometimes it is a bit pricey especially on knick knacks but I guess that is every where. They make up for it with their apples in the fall as well as seasonal fruits throughout the summer. After walking around for a while we were greeted nicely, the lady walked us to the cooler even though she could have pointed, but then offered us samples - which of course let to us buying 2 bags of apples! :) When checking out the lady complimented my daughter for laying the apples so gently on the counter (as to not bruise them).
