Prices are always higher on average than other grocery stores (try Woodman's or Aldi's for the best prices). If you watch the sales and ads you can get some items at a better bargain, but they sometimes run out. Fruits and vegetables are usually okay, and there is a big selection of prepared foods here. Response... For the better prices at Festival; as I mentioned above, "watch the sales and ads" Clarify... Deli foods{hot & cold} are Great; if you want prepared food items, quick & easy!

Everybody know the meat market, and bakery here is good. In regards to quality, pricing and customer service. (In most cases). But the problems with festival lie outside of these departments. There pricing for average everyday product is almost 23% more than the average price. And their rotation is jot always on point with keeping things fresh and in date. I've gotten a lot of rotted produce from this store all due to poor FIFO.

Arguably the best alcohol selection in town. Festival foods is a good place to go for cheap drinks and a wide selection of food as well. There is also an Altra federal credit union branch inside the store for your banking needs. I always come here when I run errands.

I’m getting REALLY sick of being profiled every time I go into this store. There have been times where I kind of understand bc I’ve gone in there with sweats on or carrying my reusable festival bag bc I’ve been on foot (it’s right down the road from my apartment). But it’s literally every single time I go in there that I 1. Have people following me around if I’m in there more than 5 minutes. 2. There will be 3-4 people checking out at self checkout and no worker in sight but as soon as I step foot in that area to pay for my stuff, there’s suddenly a worker there who intently watches me the entire time. I may not be much to look at when I have no makeup on, but it doesn’t mean I’m in any way willing to risk my freedom and clean criminal record to steal some stupid grocery item from Festival. I work and am halfway through a bachelors degree and my husband works and has two degrees under his belt and we’re BOTH veterans. I’d say we’re smart enough to know better than to steal from an overpriced, already paranoid, store. It’s gotten to the point where I have to plan my outfits and what I take with me when I’m going here. Today I wore snug clothes, a VERY snug jacket that isn’t puffy, ties in the front, & doesn’t even have pockets. Didn’t take my purse, my wallet..just my phone, car key, & debit card. By the time I was almost ready to checkout, I’d been noticing a man who was hanging close by me wherever I went and watching me. So I purposefully lost him and stood at the end of an isle, out of sight kinda, waiting to see if he showed up. Within SECONDS, this guy almost ran into me and pretended like he was looking for someone in the isle. He wasn’t. He had been alone the entire time I’d been seeing him. I waited outside in my car for this guy to come out and was there a good 15 minutes..never seen him exit. And of course…there was no worker at the self checkout until I got there. I had ALL BIG ITEMS. Where would I have hidden a 6 pack of coke, a 6 pack of apple juice, a gallon of water, two boxes of popsicles, two boxes of shells and cheese, and a huge family size container of mashed potatoes? I had no purse or bag or anything with me and I’m not a magician. If this keeps happening, I’m going to address this in store and I’m going to take...

Had a horrible experience today (2-10-22) at 6:30 am. I went to the salad bar and was looking at it (no employee at this time by it). The salad bar was filled but for two bins that needed to be placed out yet. An older women employee walked over and said that she was sorry she didn’t have everything out and it would be a couple minutes. I told her that it was no issue thinking I could proceed getting a salad with what was out since I was fine with that and had to get to work. I grabbed a small container and started to proceed with grabbing lettuce when she rudely stated “ ma’am I said it isn’t ready”. I was taken back by the comment as I must have misunderstood what she meant by it not being ready (thought she was just letting me know it all wasn’t out) . I then asked her if I couldn’t just get a salad with what was provided. She rudely told me no and that it was not open and would be in two minutes. I then walked away as I was in a time crunch and confused as to why she would not let me get a salad in the almost fully stocked salad bar? It isn’t like you guys don’t run out of things that need to be restocked in the salad bar during the day so in that case do you refuse people to use the salad bar til it is stocked? She was completely rude and I still do not understand what the harm in me making a salad was. I normally do not complain or leave reviews but this made me feel like my business would be appreciated somewhere else with employees who treat you with respect. Please train your staff on how to properly talk...

What has happened to the customer service at the Copeland Ave location? I used to Shop there but will now go to Holmen or maybe Hy-Vee. The other night I had to use the restroom while shopping, and when I walked in there was another shopper struggling to get into her wheelchair from a non-handicapped stall. The handicapped stall was being used by an employee!!! (Able bodied young woman) Later that same visit when I asked for help on an item the person said they were on break...didn't alert anyone else to come and help me...just walked away. How do I know they are on break? And then lastly when I was checking out the cashier charged the same item three items on my receipt two times each. When I pointed it out you'd think I was trying to get away with something vs the cashier making the mistake. ( the cashier btw was talking to another employee while checking my groceries - personal issue) All I can say is YIKES - I used to...
