Nou's Deli and Asian Market — Local services in La Crosse

Hard to find the entrance at first, then I realized the entrance is in the white building to the right. Inside I wasn't sure if I was there at the wrong time or what but the shelves were about 30% stocked, the vegetables looked wilted as well. That being said, they do have the usual Asian groceries that you would want, provided that they have them in stock. They also have an attached eatery, which serves fried rice, eggrolls, pho, and BBQ meats. I tried the pho and it satisfied my cravings but it was obvious that it was more of the instant packet kind. The food is good and they got a decent selection of things. The only complaints I would have are the fact that they can sometimes take a while to give you your food if you don't call them. And sometimes because they are very short-staffed they won't talk to you until you're done with someone's water so it takes a little bit for them to talk to you. Amazing. The egg rolls are perfect and honestly the best out of the places I have been to. If I could give it more stars I would. The sweet sauce for the egg rolls was good but the spicy sauce they gave us to try with it hit different. I liked mixing the two it gave a sweet and spicy twang that was just perfection. I will definitely be coming back and trying more of...
