Dr. GreenThumb's La Mesa Cannabis Dispensary — Local services in La Mesa

I decided to come in tonight to get a few vacation goodies since I didn’t expect to extend my stay. Initially I went to a different dispensary last night and wasn’t pleased at all with the two disposable vapes that I was sold to say the least when I got home and discovered they were d8 which isn’t the same.. so tonight I gave dr greenthumbs a try as I’ve had their brand flower back in my home state. The Directions on google maps can be a little tricky but after that upon entering the dispensary you head through a metal detector (which is a plus as I’ve never seen this back home so it made me feel safer then back home) then you either pick your order up right there at the front or what I really enjoy and haven’t seen before was the self serve convenience. I didn’t feel that typical rush while standing there waiting for a budtender to ask me if there’s anything else I wanted so they can move on to the next customer, honestly I prefer this dispensary over any other dispensary I’ve EVER been to in my life considering I’ve been smoking cannabis both medicinally and recreationally for years!! This dispensary will always be my first stop when I’m back...

Great selection at great prices with really sweet staff (everyone from the security guards to the people inside) - it's always an absolute joy coming in here. The vibes are really nice and everyone is super friendly.

Tim greets us every time without fail (even when not working!) and always asks if we need any recommendations. If you get the chance to take a recommendation from him, you should! He always picks great grass and is super knowledgeable. Lizzie has checked us out several times and is so sweet and funny - it's always really nice to interact with her.

There's regularly held events here where they have great deals and a fun selection of vendors (including vegan food options!). Inside, the selection does include some great vegan edibles as well which are hard to find. They do have a little clearance box by checkout also that's worth checking out. If you need cash, they have two ATMs, and do accept credit/debit card transactions for a $3 fee. Thank you guys for a great...

Let me start over... Dr. Greenthumb is the best dispensary in San Diego County. The Bud Tenders are friendly and knowledgeable. The store is super clean and very well organized. Lots of flower choices and other goodies. Their hash is the bomb!!! Since I found this store a little over 1 year ago, I've only had one unpleasant experience with an associate regarding a delivery issue. The driver made things ok by listening and acknowledging my concerns and stating someone called out at the last minute and it threw off the deliveries. My only suggestion is for the associate to be honest and straight with me. Stuff happens! I just would have made the 40 minute drive instead of waiting more than 3.5 hours for a delivery. Regarding the associate, well yes, she was short with me and rude! But everyone has a bad day. Just watch your actions, you're NOT only representing yourself. BTW...Victor...
