As this was convenient for all the guys to get fitted since it was close to home, I would recommend you go elsewhere. Since our first visit in there, the owner told us that it would be best to order ties and pocket squares from where we got the dresses because her vendor doesn’t have a good selection, maybe it’s time to get a different vendor, we weren’t asking for much just terracotta color they didn’t have to be velvet like the dresses. So, we got our own ties and pocket squares due to this and the suit rental for the guys was still the same cost even though we didn’t use their ties and pocket squares. We went in on June 15, 2024, to get everything in line, a suit was supposed to be ordered when we left for my husband because his was being bought not rented. Fast forward to Monday July 22 I texted the owner to remind her that all the guys were coming in on that Saturday to be fitted, she asked us to remind her when we went in in June so she could have extra assistance, I asked her if my husband’s suit was ordered and if it was in yet she stated it was ordered and should be in that Thursday. Saturday July 27, the guys go in to get fitted no extra assistance was there helping her with the fittings and the customers coming in, my husband’s suit was not in, and he was told it was due to the ramp in covid cases and that she would be in touch. Fast forward to September 4 a month before our wedding, I texted her asking if my husband’s suit was in yet and if we could start the fitting process since he wanted it tailored a special way. She informed me it was in and was holding off to text me to let me know to get passed an extremely busy wedding week, which is totally understandable but the fact that this suit was ordered in June and just getting in September, just would have liked a text saying it was in since we were waiting for a while for this suit to come in. He went in September 13 10:00am for the first fitting which she knew he was coming at 10:00am when they open and she was 10 minutes late to open, he was told he had to do three fittings, but they would call/text him to schedule second one once it was done. September 23 (12 days away from our wedding day) have yet to hear from her so I texted her telling her he would be in that Friday for the second fitting since we were 12 days away from our wedding. She replied she got it back that Friday but was closed Saturday and was going to text me when they opened Tuesday. I texted her the Monday of the wedding asking what time suits usually come in so I could let the guys know so they could make time to go try on and get anything fixed that needed to be fixed, never heard back from her, at this point I put one of the best men in charge of communication and making sure everyone gets in and their items fit. This whole process she seemed rushed, overwhelmed and unorganized. I did not go into any of the fittings with my husband as I did not want to see him in his suit until our wedding day. After the first fitting he came home and told me about the owner telling him “your butt looks really good”, apparently the way she said it made him feel very uncomfortable. We were talking with my mother-in-law after the wedding about the experience we received with the suits and she said when she went in with my father-in-law the way she was talking about my husband made her super uncomfortable and she even told her “that’s my son you are talking about, the groom of this wedding”. As a business owner this is very unfortunate behavior and could have choice her words better where it wouldn’t come off as “flirting or hitting on them”. My husband was not the only one she made comments like this to either, some of the groomsmen stated the same thing. As all the suits were ready for the wedding and looked good, this whole experience was super stressful and with the actions we experienced, I would not recommend going here for your wedding. And as I know every time she has a bad review, she tries defending herself I have all the text messages to back...
Read moreWent here to rent tuxes/suits for our wedding. The initial process was okay, they didn't really have swatches of most of the colors we were looking at (Burgundy & Navy). The issues arose when the first groomsman was fitted. The staff was very rude and ridiculed my fiancé for the color of shoes that we chose, if it was that big of a deal I don't understand why something wasn't mentioned when we picked them out to begin with. I also forgot to ask during our initial meeting if the grooms' rental is no charge only because I know other stores typically offer that if there are enough people renting from there, we had 8 in total. So I called and asked and was told "um no", I then asked if that meant no there is not a charge for the grooms or no you guys don't offer that anymore? She was very snippy and told me that they haven't offered that since covid. Then we had one of the dads and another groomsman go and it was even worse. Whoever measured them both had no idea what she was doing. She attempted to measure them both and ended up telling our groomsman that he was 5 sizes bigger than his pants size. Once he told her that didn't sound right, she proceeded to write his pants size down instead. We ultimately decided to go elsewhere. It's stressful enough planning an entire wedding and the one thing I didn't anticipate having an issue with is renting tuxes. I know they are now under new ownership as well so that might be the issue. Not to mention when trying to call to cancel our rentals I had to call 3 times to get ahold of anyone. Once I spoke with the manager, and told her what was going on and mentioned us going elsewhere, she stated that they were understaffed and some of the girls there had to learn how to measure and that it is very...
Read moreI was initially very pleased with the options available for suits and the expertise provided by the staff. I was looking to purchase a suit for myself for my wedding, and to rent for my wedding party. When I first came in, I was told "We can do anything". I was very open and clear about what I was looking for, so I took this at face value.
As the weeks went on, there was little progress made on locating and sourcing suit options for me. It got to the point where I ended up going elsewhere for my own suit, while I still trusted in the rental packages available for the wedding party. Several visits later, all while the staff was still assuring me that there was plenty of time and there would be no problems, at least two of my wedding party members (my Dad and Brother In-Law) did not get their suits until the day before the wedding. This was done so last minute that people were late to our rehearsal, just because their suits still had to be altered and finished up. I want to reiterate, this was the day before the wedding. Not the week of, not a few days before. My Dad was at the shop, while the final alterations were being done right in front of him, as he waited to immediately head out for our rehearsal.
Everyone did end up with suits, and they were all good quality, and a good fit. While things worked out in the end, I must be honest about the last minute procrastinating nature that this was handled in.
I do not think it's impossible to get a custom suit ordered through LR, but I would suggest you prepare to get things at the absolute last minute. If it's for a wedding, that is especially disappointing and...
