Update: Started coming back after 2 year hiatus. Had it 3 times over last 2 weeks, all 3 times food was amazing and they put extra cheese on cheese bread just as I always request (happy to pay extra for it). There was always plenty of garlic on it and it was absolutely delicious. Plus there wasn’t ever any of these pointless tiny corner pieces cut where you basically just have a piece of crust. All 3 of those times were after 4pm. Not sure if that is significant or not. Today, ordered it for lunch. Asked extra cheese and got something that was once again bland, dry, baron of cheese and void of flavor. In this case, I hope I didn’t pay extra for ‘extra cheese’. I won’t be able to even finish this bread and usually, I cannot get enough. So disappointing how big of a difference there is from one manager/worker to another in terms of preparation consistency. I never think to take a picture of when it tastes delicious so I don’t have a comparison but I’ll attach a picture of when it tastes horrible. For clarity, the primary issue here is no garlic butter. Asking for extra cheese and getting barely any is just the added middle finger. Especially when the manager takes the phone from the employee just to ensure me that it’ll be made to perfection. It’s really not complicated. I truly don’t get why it’s so much worse when day shift is working. I am not sure if they think I’m picky and am just complaining for no reason or what. I literally ate there cheese bread 3 times a week for a year before something dramatically changed and it started going downhill. The moment I began pointing out what was different about it, then it seemed that they would start making it intentionally worse to retaliate. I don’t know. Incredibly disappointing. Felt like I found a lost love again the past two weeks but now that I see nothing has changed on day shift, I guess I’m done with them again. It really sucks. Here’s the history, I work nearby. Ate here 2-3 times a week for 2 years without issue. Suddenly, began going downhill. Started with minor things like skimping on cheese, bubbles taking up half the pizza/beard, etc. finally after several bad experiences, brought it up with manager who knew me well. She’s always been nice and I’ve always liked her as a person. Once I brought it up, the original issue of skimping on cheese was immediately corrected but suddenly, she wouldn’t put hardly any garlic on it. That leads to the bread tasting like bland, cheese topped cardboard. After speaking with her several times, finally left a review. After the review, it got REALLY bad. Could be coincidence. Finally swore off this place for over 2 years. Hoping to wipe slate clean (secretly praying new management), decided to give it another try. Ordered 3 or 4 times over 2 weeks (each was after 5pm) and it was amazing every time. Then I ordered it yesterday before 4pm and asked for extra cheese as I did the previous times and they didn’t put it on. Asked for remake and they did but then an employee actually says to me ‘we weigh our cheese and you have to request extra’, to which I reply ‘I literally did, several times, as I always do’. Aside from that, the remade cheese bread was BOMB. I loved it. No hesitation in ordering another today. Called in, employee who answered says ‘computer says error, hold on’. Then the manager gets on (same as years back) and says ‘I’ll be making it myself, so there will be the right amount of cheese’. Not sure why you’d say that, seems passive aggressive. And of course, here we are, no extra cheese as requested and no garlic butter to speak of. In the past, she was gas lighting me so hard that I drove to MC Wanapizza just to prove to myself that I can order a cheese bread and it would taste just how I like it without any special requests (just how it did years ago). If you order here, go after 5pm to be safe. I’m just avoiding it all together. Good luck

I guess pictures can be deceiving. Tried this place out one night. Ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza with sweet sauce. My order was ready relatively quick (I figured it wouldn't be nowhere near the 40 minutes the website gave for this small town.) When I got there the place was empty. I had to ring the bell to get the seemingly one person working there to come to the register. She was nice and quickly picked grabbed my pizza that was sitting next to the only other order. The pizza itself looks ok. The crust is harder than I expected since it looks to be slightly overcooked. For some reason the slices were cut uneven. I don't mind if they're slightly off, but when you have one slice that's like an eighth of the entire pizza and another slice thats like half an inch wide that's silly. The sweet sauce was over sweetened to the point where it was just kool-aid which is not good at all. There could've also been a bit more cheese added since the toppings were falling off althought the one thing I do give Wana is that they don't skimp on the toppings. Overall this is amateur hour. It looks like at some point in the past they were making better pizzas, but this ain't it.

Sorriest looking Italian Beef EVER!!! Sooo sad too, this place was a go to place for Italian Beef - the only positive traction for this place is their newer location in La Porte. Regardless of COVID they continue to have the same staff, delivery drivers and obviously management does not work in the evenings to allow this box of left over beef bullioned flavored food leave their store. I'm done, no more Wanna Pizza ordering from this loyal customer for YEARS! AND yes I have called each and every time when there has been a problem ... management not there, they take a message and no call back, no credit given ‐ just done! Next

I picked up an extra work shift unexpectedly so my husband ordered Wana so he didn't have to cook (smart guy!). We order here frequently and really haven't had any issues.

Last night our food was delivered super quick and they remembered each and every one of our extra paid sauces (we go a little crazy, sorry Wana staff!), however 2 of the 3 pizzas and the order of bread sticks he got were still raw.

I called today just to let the manager know - we usually don't have any issues and just wanted to let them know something was up. I called in today (4/17) around 4:30PM, the inital woman I spoke with was very kind (have had bad attitude other places if I needed to speak to a manager) and she got me a manager super quick. The manager I spoke with was Darryl I believe he said. Anyway, he was super kind as well, apologized for the mistake, let me know he would tell the other managers too because it could be something with the ovens, and gave me a credit. I legitimately was not looking for a credit since the order wasn't really expensive, so that was a nice and appreciated touch!

We love Wana and will continue to purchase from them. They have a great track record with us and usually don't ever make mistakes, but if they do they're quick to apologize and fix the issue.

Thanks Darryl and Wana Staff, keep making...

We haven't been happy with Dominoes. It made my bf sick twice, we get the deals and even for two people, with delivery is usually over $40 even with the "deals".

We decided to try Wana again, it has been years since we had it and this location is really close to us. We ordered and picked up. My bf called and put the order in. I wanted a sauce for the pizza. He told her that and but when he ordered bread sticks she said that came with sauce too. So we didn't really need that. He said that was fine then. Thinking she took the one off. She didn't so we ended up paying for another sauce even though we didn't need it with the bread. It was kind of deceiving. My bf walked in and there were people right there by the desk but more so back by the kitchen. He could see them but nobody noticed or heard him walk in. He had to call the place, standing at the desk to get someone to come and answer the phone to notice him. He hung up when she got to the desk and she's like oh they hung up. 🙄

Place is a typical little pizza place with seating. It's on the smaller side. Big windows and nice looking.

The pizza was really good and we were happy but once it added up it was still almost $40 to get a two topping...
