Go somewhere else! The amount of work they expect you to do with them doing the install is insane. No one with a full time job could do everything. They sold us a package above the one we asked for without explanation. It cost an extra $1000. There are a bunch of expensive items that aren't part of the package, but you need to have done to get the pool installed and working. They don't install the halo that electricians require, so we get to pay extra for that (the other pool stores do). The pool has been install for 1.5 weeks and we have already had to call twice to get someone out to fix something. The lining slipped before the pool was full, and the pump started spewing water before it was even turned on. They can't get someone out for several days because "it is peak pool season". They told us to just twist the part that connects the pvc pipe to the filter. When we informed them that we can't twist it because it is glued, we were told that is impossible. See the photo for proof that it was in fact glued. Sarah who gets sent out whenever we have problems is wonderful! She even confirmed that the piece that was glued, but it was impossible that it would be glued, gets glued all the time. We have come to the conclusion that the people who answer calls and work at the store are clueless about the actual process. _______________________________________________________________________ (They deleted their response that made no sense with my review) In response: There was no confusion while signing the contract. We were told by the sales person that the items that we were responsible for were fast and easy to handle. Each item took significantly longer and more effort than fast and easy. I did not complain about the dirt and rock at all. We are actually thrilled to have the dirt and rock. _______________________________________________________________ Since day 1 our filter pressure has been significantly higher than they said it ever should be. We have been afraid to run the filter on high because the pressure level on low was so high (30-50 on low). (their staff just ignored our questions about this) After 2 years we decided to switch out the filter sand. This did not fix it. We switched out the pressure gauge last week. The pressure gauge that came with our very expensive filter has been broken since the day it was installed. Our pressure has been just over 10 on high ever since.

If you are considering installing a stealth pool yourself.. DON’T!!!! Being a 30 year customer with Pool And Spa we probably won’t be back! We are do it yourselfers and asked many questions regarding doing a self install on a stealth and was told by our salesman Jeremy that if we had installed previous above ground pools that this would be easy. Not so!!! We were doomed to fail from the get go. No instructions with pool, only a diagram and many phone calls and a video sent to us to watch which left out CRITICAL information set us up for complete failure!! Lack of knowledge on the salesmen part and critical information withheld from us left us with a complete pool disaster! A leaning pool, screws snapping causing liner track to pull away from pool wall, three different estimates on concrete depth from three different staff members left us wondering if even they knew how to install this pool. I guess they didn’t find it important to let us know with the purchase of the pool steps that on each side the steps needed extra leg support. Not on the diagram, nor the video, nor told to us!! And no accountability from Pool and Spa. Setting us up to fail!! Five thousand more dollars later they come out to fix the pool. Replaced the liner at our expense. Left liner with folds, and a puncture hole in top of new liner. Had to return to get the folds out of liner. Could not get the pool wall flush with the pool steps which possibly could be a future disaster . Who knows!!! We wanted to do our own install because we knew we would do a better job. And we did. We only failed because like I said critical information was withheld. We asked the questions, but was only given so much information. I’ve never been so disappointed in this company!! Not one courtesy call from anyone.. just got the money and called it done. Pool and Spa, we were very loyal customers for over 30 years!!!! Educate your salespeople. We were told by your construction crew that no one can install this pool but two people! That it’s the most complex pool you sell! Never set a customer up for disaster. Be honest with your customers!! We could have saved ourselves a lot of hard work, stress and tears had you been up front with us!!! Remember, your customers are your success! We won’t be back!!! In response to your feedback Pool and Spa.. WOW!! Still no accountability still!! Very unprofessional!!! Just WOW!

I contacted Pool and Spa Depot on April 9th, 2025 to service a repetitive ground fault issue on my Bullfrog Hot Tub which we have truly enjoyed. My wife uses this spa to relieve post surgical pain she has experienced afree back surgery. After 3 service visits and $1600 my tub is still unusable on August 22nd. I was contacted today by Sara who indicated that my appointment today (scheduled 3 weeks ago) needs to be rescheduled because they just realized they hadn’t scheduled the resources needed to complete the work. I have found the performance of the PSD service team to be careless (casual attitude about UNSAFE condition of post repair electrical grounds/circuits [see post service photos below]), unprofessional (lacking tools and training to perform the job), lacking any sense of urgency or customer focus (46 days to secure parts???) and deceitful (delaying service to secure a "two man" team who never arrived on the day of service). In communication with the PSD leadership about these concerns, I’ve been assured on multiple occasions that this standard of service performance is reasonable and expected when working with their service department. As a result, I have now moved my hot tub repair work to an independent contractor I would strongly discourage anyone from pursuing service through this organization. If I could give this organization a negative star they certainly deserve it.

I was referred to Pool & Spa by a neighbor, but can certainly say that I will not recommend P&S to any other neighbor looking to get an install after this lackluster experience.

Regardless of the pool package that you purchase, there should be a project manager assigned. Someone should come to the house to ensure there's enough room for a pool, sell you on necessary features or upgrades, and coordinate everything from permit to coordination of concrete and electric. For STEALTH POOLS, this option is not offered (not sure why) which then causes the home owner to play PM in between your own job, life etc.

Scheduling & Install : After calling scheduling 4-5x o find out when I was going to be installed, I was informed that my steps were not in stock, and the only option I had was to go with their ladder system OR above ground steps. I'm making a large purchase, why on Earth would I want above ground steps in my IN GROUND pool? A manager refused to get on a call with me and I was told there was nothing they can do, there was no ETA for steps and those were my options. I shot my sales person a text that I had to cancel and magically steps appeared.....I should have still canceled just based on that experience, but I figured how much worse could it get?

During my Project Manager stint, I asked multiple people, multiple times how much gravel I need for backfill (because they wont backfill for Stealths either) and I was told the 3 tons that was outlined in my contract ......Please get a real install department OR list approx tonnage of backfill is needed per pool in your "big brochure" so that your clients have all necessary information.

The pool was delivered the day before the install and they tell you they need 8'. I have 10' and guess what -- they drove over the neighbors yard and left huge ruts with their skid steer. 8' is plenty of room --- they need better drivers.

Day of install the guys were great, here on time and very respectful, however they showed up with a bob cat and not an excavator. I paid extra for a company to come out and pre dig a few holes to ensure no rock shelf would be hit (5K per day for P&S depot to break that up) and advised the install team prior to scheduling that we would need an excavator because all I've got was rock......well as mentioned, they showed up with a bob cat and what should have taken 2 hours to dig, took nearly 6. As they couldnt get the bottom flat enough, they suggested I get 20 tons of gravel delivered plus a huge tarp to go over it so they can lay sand and then install the pool . The gravel delivery was something else and they too ruined another neighbors lawn, but had this been communicated up front I wouldnt have had to pay for an extra delivery OR ruin anyone's lawn -- remember I asked for backfill previously so I could have used that gravel in the meantime.

The pump was installed in an area with minimal PVC tubing and not a desirable location- I wish I would have corrected them while they were installing it but I didnt and that's my fault. I think at that time I was just over it and wanted P&S to just be done.

They leave the cleanup for you and the guys took my newly purchased 50' garden hose and left me with a 12.99 20ft hose with duck tape holding it together.

The YELP reviews are much more indicative of the service and product you receive -- hoping this google review is on top for many to see. Perhaps a PM being assigned would have resulted in a much different situation, and perhaps that is where good reviews come from.

The only positive from here was their true install time being 3 weeks out and the install guys were nice. My salesman was nice up until the time that I needed to know about backfill gravel and still hasnt responded even after multiple asks (2 weeks now), and ultimately their price was reasonable.

I hope the owner sees the review and doesnt dismiss it and makes a change. Assign a PM to ALL projects regardless of cost; it'll truly make a difference for your clients and could yield more business...

The necessity for a jacuzzi arose due to my husband, a disabled veteran who underwent multiple surgeries and battled cancer, requiring the spa for therapeutic purposes. Initially, the staff appeared very kind, but that changed after the purchase. We bought a Mystic 120 6-person spa, but received a used model with scratches. When we complained, they offered a $500 store credit, but we insisted on getting the product we paid for. The spa delivered was clearly last year's model, evident from the differences in the cover and water release mechanisms.

Bobby, the delivery person, was exceptional—helpful, honest, and kind. Daniel, on the other hand, was quite the opposite. Jeremy had informed us that the necessary plug was available at Lowe's, which turned out to be untrue. Daniel proposed to install a longer plug at our home, which we appreciated. However, they attempted to deliver the spa without the extended plug. Wanting to avoid the impracticality of an unusable spa, I refused delivery until the installation date was confirmed. Despite refusing delivery on Friday due to the lack of an installation date, I was informed on Monday that delivery was scheduled for that day with Daniel's presence. Daniel always seemed surprised about having to visit. The situation deteriorated to the point where I lost my composure. My advice for anyone in need of a spa is to consider alternative stores, as this one seems to forget you once payment is made.

UPDATE: I JUST SAW THE RESPONSE FROM THE MANAGER, AND EVERY THING THAT THEY POSTED WAS NOT COMPLETELY TRUE. WE WERE NEVER OFFERED A REFUND!!! DANIEL DID NOT END THE CALL, I DID. I DID NOT INSIST THAT DANIEL BE AT DELIVERY, I WAS TOLD THAT HE WOULD BE THERE AT 2;00 P.M. THAT DAY, HE WASN'T. I CALLED THE STORE AND DANIEL TOLD ME THAT HE HAD ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA THAT HE WAS EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE THERE. WE EXPECTED NOTHING FOR FREE!!! WE WOULD HAVE GLADLY PAID FOR THE PLUG, WE WERE NEVER TOLD THAT THERE WAS A PRICE. IF WE EXPECTED ANYTHING FREE, WE WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR THE PROMISED STORE CREDIT FOR THE FILLING AND EMPTYING OF THE FIRST TUB THAT DANIEL PROMISED. AND WHY WOULD YOU GIVE ME A BLEM TUB FOR THE EXACT SAME PRICE OF A NEW ONE, AND WHY IS THIS THE FIRST TIME THAT WE HAVE HEARD OF THIS??? YOU PEOPLE ARE NOT HONEST AND THAT IS THE REASON THAT BUSINESS WITH YOU IN NOT IN OUR NEAR FUTURE. IF YOU WERE GOING TO GIVE A BLEM TUB, THEN WE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS AND WE SHOULD HAVE NOT BEEN CHARGED FOR A NEW ONE. AND YES, I DID SAY TO DANIEL THAT HE WAS A FU#$%#%^ IDIOIT AND I STILL STAND BY THAT!!!! i AM EXTREMELY SAD THAT I SAID THAT, BUT IT'S THE TRUTH, BUT I DO APOLOGIZE FOR THOSE WORDS, I USUALLY CONTROL MYSELF BETTER, BUT YOU DON'T MESS WITH MY HUSBAND, MY MONEY OR MY INTELLIGENCE AND UNFORTUNATELY YOU GUYS DID...

The quick and simple - take your money somewhere else.

Cluster from the word go. I had to pull info out of the sales guy. I planned to use their 12 month no interest financing. He gave me a website and said all I had to do was go there and apply. I left to measure my yard and decide on pool size to meet codes. I apply to find out it's for an unsecured loan. Find out when I go back to order the pool that there was a specific link they had to give me. That's 2 pulls on my credit unnecessarily. I asked the guy behind the counter if he knew anything about the electrical part. He tells me they can run it off of the electrical outlets on the back of the house. Not true. Well, you could but then you won't pass the electrical code. They'll give you an electrician referral that doesn't answer or return calls.

There's a list of things you are responsible for doing because they don't. Some pool companies locally do; just not Pool and Spa Depot. You will have to get your own pool permit, electrical permit, electrician and tons of sand. After the pool install, you will be responsible for all dirt dug up, damage to your yard and driveway, leftover sand and any trash resulting from the install including their empty drink bottles.

Kelly called to set up the install. Long story short, she threw other people under the bus for things I'd been told. Her attitude was so nasty I resorted to one word responses. She was very condescending addressing the financing and electrical issues. She wouldn't set up an appt. unless I had sand on the property even though I said they can deliver it 2 days before. FYI - they have you get way more than you need just in case it washes away while waiting for an install. Isn't that nice of them? Next issue is 811 filed my ticket and said Pool and Spa Depot needed to call too but P&S argued with me about it and their resolution was to offer me to cancel and refund my money. I never, at any point indicated that's what I wanted.

Day of install, they were about to install a 24 ft pool but I ordered an 18 ft. That led to multiple trips in and out of the yard. Oh and I'm left to install the LED light, the alarm, the stairs, the auto vacuum. They don't take care of that either. My yard is a disaster, their trash piled up and the pool is not sitting where I marked either which is huge impact on my future plans. Incompetent, uncaring, nasty attitudes and you'll be stuck with many other expenses. This doesn't even scratch the surface of how bad the experience was. Run from this place and take your money somewhere else. They won't mind, they're gladly offering cancels...
