We usually had a moderate experience here and family wanted to eat in on Father's Day...so, I went to the closest Chinese take out. Just under $30.00 for lunch for my wife, son and myself.....this is what we got. I asked twice for chopsticks because on a previous visit they were not in the bag...and we were on our way to the park. Check your bag before leaving.... got the "Angry Eyes" as though I was inconveniencing them today on Father's Day......my wife did not want the forks and spoons they just grabbed with their hands after handling money and such. They drop it in and send you off. Chopsticks are her tradition anyhow being Filipina. I called to express the packing of our food and the lack of shrimp on D16 (Szechuan Shrimp). The phone was given to another female who spoke better language and stated 'That is Impossible' instead of expressing concern on the order or packing of the order. We ordered D21 (Bourbon Chicken) and D3 ( Crispy Chicken with Orange Flavor. It was slopped up and minimal portions compared to what we had received in previous visits......maybe a change of management or ownership, but as an OWNER or EMPLOYEE I would have suggested to satisfy the customer......We took pic of the food uneaten and Google Time Stamp, but we were not about to make a trip back so an Angry Cook and Expediter may contaminate our food....not taking that chance.....so, instead......uploading our experience. By far the worst plate of Chinese I've ever ordered. My egg roll was cold in the middle, and had cabbage I couldn't even chew. My rice was dry, crunchy and had a dirt taste. I got about 6 pieces of beef that tasted like raw onion, and about a pound of vegetables that are no where near sautéed. This was the hot n spicy beef and rice plate and the 2 flavors I taste are raw onion and raw vegetables. Soy sauce can't fix this plate. My microwave meal is much more appetizing compared to this take out which is sad in my opinion. My wife got beef n broccoli, noodles, egg drop soup, and egg roll. She says the egg roll was the same for her, the egg drop soup is such a dark yellow, and has a bad taste. Noodles were ok and her beef actually tasted like beef. The food is usually really good, but the place has never looked the cleanest. I became concerned when I saw reviews about someone finding a maggot in their food, and another saying they saw them pick up a piece of chicken and put it back in the to go box. I looked up their latest health inspection with the state of Tennessee. It was HORRIBLE, and it was in August of 2020. The inspection reported that there were many flies present in the kitchen, so no wonder the person had a maggot in their food! Also issues with storage and food preparation.
