Roma Pizza of La Vergne (on Murfreesboro Road) has the best pizza around, both in price and in flavor. The dough is cooked to perfection, giving you a flavorful, chewy crust. (I am one of those people that doesn't eat my crusts, but I always eat this crust.) The sauce is robust in tomato flavor with the perfect amount of seasoning to compliment the crust, cheese, and any topping you throw at it. You can get a large 2 topping carry-out deal for 11.99, with a variety of two liters to choose from if you need. The pizza is one thing, but their pastas take it up a notch as well. Their lasagna is on par or better than many homemade lasagnas I've had in my life. the Cajun Chicken Alfredo is an amazing combo of Cajun seasoning and rich Alfredo that brings a normally tasty dish to another level. I can’t recommend enough. The man who answered the phone was very patient with my questions and requests, and was quick while still being welcoming. 2.THE MARINARA !! (I got the manicotti) Im not sure if they make the sauces in house, nor do I care. It was so good. Lots of seasoning and large chunks of skinless tomato (which I personally love), just seemed so good and fresh. THE BREAD!! The bread that comes with the meal was so good. I ordered two pizzas for pick up. I specified a particular time so they would be just out of the oven and retain their heat until we got home, nearby. That is exactly what the staff did for me.
