Big Bear Hardware — Local services in La Vernia

As always this hardware store has a little bit of everything! If they don't have it they can get it. They are becoming the "Deptawas" of Wilson County. In case you don't know Deptawas was a hardware store in China Grove and GOOD GOD talk about inventory. Jeez! They made the big box stores pale by comparison. And all crammed into one small store. They didn't have to order anything, they already HAD everything. Now Big Bear has not reached that level of inventory they still have a lot AND if you live in/around La Vernia it's worth a trip to them before the road trip to San Antonio. As always the owners/workers are over the top...

The girl at the front desk told me that I should call back to check in on an item and every single time I called back she forwarded my call and when she did answer she was talking about how she was sending somebody pictures and "LOLing" and ignored me and now won't answer the phone at all I haven't been rude to her I literally haven't talked to her since she said that she was going to check on the item and now she's continues to forward my call. unprofessional Finally got someone to answer said she texted me picture of the item and then proceeded to ask me for...

On Sat 4/24/2020 I went to the store to get a couple of PVC fittings for a sprinkler job. Sign on the door said no more than three in the store at once. I walk in. There are approx eight customers in the store. Two of us wearing masks. Both of us are in our 60’s. No one else was wearing a mask, including a couple of gentlemen of my generation. Not one employee is wearing a mask. Do y’all think this is a conspiracy? I’ll never set foot in the place again. If you don’t care about my life, I don’t care about your business.
