OCT Driving Academy — Local services in Ladera Ranch

I heard of OCT Driving Academy from a friend of mine who received her license about six months ago. She had nothing but glowing things to say about OCT and Matt August. I worked with Matt (August) for the entirety of my OCT Driving Academy experience. He made my learning experience lively and colorful with his insight and helpful advice. I was always so excited whenever I had an appointment with Matt (August) because I would leave the appointment more confident in my driving skills and with a few jokes for the future. Matt August is the best driving instructor I could have wished for. Not only is he insightful with years of driving experience, but he is also an incredible person. I have made many core memories that I will remember for the rest of my life with Matt (August). Since my time with OCT, I have referred them to a number of people (one of which is a current client, who is also loving OCT and works with Matt) and will refer them to any person who talks about needing a drive academy. I have two younger siblings who will also become OCT Driving Academy graduates when they obtain their learner's permit. I cannot thank OCT Driving Academy and Matt August enough for the incredible experience...

I absolutely recommend OCT Driving Academy! My son has really struggled with learning to drive. Having ADHD certainly didn't help. We were both very unhappy with another company we first used. They didn't teach him good, safe habits and rushed him to complete the lessons rather than ensure he had the skills. I hoped that OCT Driving Academy's instructors, who are retired first responders, would understand my son’s deficits. The fact that they teach the state required six hours in one 2-hour segment to cover basic skills and then four 1-hour segments, in itself, is a huge help. My son definitely needed the spacing of lessons to absorb what he learned and to practice it. Susanne, my son’s instructor, was fantastic! She taught my son in a way that he understood, and it helped that she understood the struggles teens with ADHD have. Practice, practice, practice! Her guidance and encouragement were exactly what we both needed, and I’m happy to say that my son passed his road test this week after many months of practice! Thank you, Susanne! I don’t think we would have gotten this far...
