In high school and college, the Sign of the Arrow was "the place" for needlepoint key chain fobs we'd gift our girlfriends when they got their drivers license or joined a sorority. I still have a needlepoint key chain fob my sister updated with my married monogram. I've been a needlepointer since college and this is a wonderful store with helpful volunteers from Pi Beta Phi. The store is a nonprofit that helps Pi Beta Phi's philanthropy. As a sorority woman, I like supporting Pi Phi's philanthropy while shopping for needlepoint supplies, a hobby I'm getting back into. My first visit I came in to kit a canvas that a friend had given me, and Victoria helped me pick my colors to match. Not once did I feel weird about bringing in a canvas I didn't purchase at the store, they were so kind!
I have been in a few times since and found out they offer lessons if needed, at a very reasonable price. They carry the classics, Rainbow Gallery, Silk and Ivory, Vineyard, Pepper Pot & DMC! Plus a whole side room for canvases and even some cute 'gift' items.

The employees helped me find all the colors I needed to match it and I also got a great book with 100s of cross stitching alphabet fonts.
