I stumbled upon Ladue Taco after a busy photoshoot in the area, and my craving for tacos led me straight to their doorstep. Eager to sample their offerings, I consulted the menu and sought their expert recommendation, keeping in mind my aversion to pork. The staff suggested three options: Carne asada, barbacoa, and chicken. However, my eyes were immediately drawn to the BBQ Brisket taco, and I knew I had to give it a shot.

Let's start with the barbacoa. The meat was tender and skillfully seasoned, but it didn't quite hit the mark as my personal favorite. Nevertheless, it showcased the kitchen's ability to prepare flavorful and succulent meat fillings.

Next up was the BBQ Brisket taco, and it truly stood out from the rest. I loved the delightful contrast in textures between the juicy, melt-in-your-mouth brisket and the satisfying crunch of the red cabbage. The flavors in this taco danced in harmony, creating a mouthwatering experience that left me yearning for more. The combination of the tender brisket and the fresh crunch worked like magic, making this taco a definite winner.

Last but not least, the Carne asada taco. This classic option proved to be a crowd-pleaser. The meat was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The seasonings were spot on, enhancing the natural essence of the meat without overpowering it. Deciding which taco reigned supreme between the BBQ Brisket and the Carne asada is an impossible task. Both were exceptional in their own right, and I wholeheartedly recommend trying them both.

As for my next visit, I'm already planning to explore the chicken and maybe even the mahi mahi tacos. With such tantalizing options on the menu, it's hard to resist the temptation to return and indulge in more of Ladue Taco's culinary delights.

One small note of caution: I couldn't contain my excitement and took some quick photos while driving. However, I highly advise against doing this, as it can be dangerous. Instead, find a safe spot to enjoy your meal or take your photos.

In conclusion, Ladue Taco offers a delightful taco experience with standout options like the BBQ Brisket and Carne asada. Their ability to balance flavors and textures sets them apart. So, if you're in the area and craving some fantastic tacos, Ladue Taco should definitely be...

First visit. The Ladue Taco entry on Sundays, the day I went with my daughter, is confusing. The Sunday entry was situated behind Companion and is not at the 'Little House' at the front of the strip mall. There was not obvious signage for the walkup window around the corner. But, not a biggie.

We thought it was a trifle expensive: ~ $75 w/ tip I think, for 3 tacos, 1 chips and guacamole, 1 street corn, and 1 coke, this order doubled for both of us, with one side of Churros. The tacos are not street size but the larger average size, so we ate a lot! The beef was a cheaper cut, as per usual, with a lot of flavor. It seems the taco choices are similar to the Mission Taco restaurant choices. The street corn was good and included many more ingredients than the usual recipe. However, the taste was a bit 'muddy' with a lot going on. Only the plain Churros were available that day; but, again, not a biggie. They were good. Guacamole and salsa were excellent; the chips, thick.

Try Ladue Taco on a slow day for seating. And order less. Portions are...

Really great food with generous portions! Food was fresh with great flavors. I loved the selection of margaritas! The staff was super friendly.

Food orders are take-out only. There is outdoor patio seating. Parking is available in front and behind the building.

Initially, we were confused by the restaurant's location. Our GPS said we "had arrived." Apparently, Ladue Taco was previously located in the same building with the signage still present on the old location's store front. A frequent "Ladue Taco" customer noticed us standing in front of the old location and directed us to the opposite side of the building.

Ladue Taco is located in a walkway between Stuckenschneider Decoration & Design and Companion Bakery & Cafe.

It was a delicious, quality meal, and reasonably priced. We...

Tacos were only $4 each, no matter which one you picked. I got a roasted vegetable, Al Pastor, and a Mahi Mahi. My husband got a chicken, Carne Asada, and a Cajun Shrimp. We took it all to-go since the only seating was outside and it was in the 50's that night. Everything was absolutely delicious and we've already decided that we'll be back. My mother is pescatarian, and I've already sent her their menu because she would love the vegetable and seafood tacos. Several people came in to pick up their orders while we were there, but it wasn't ever too busy or packed inside. Staff were friendly and the food was ready quickly.
