Read moreI’ve been here twice now to meet with a few friends. The first time I was not impressed with the coffee, and very disappointed with the food. I got a crepe with bacon, avocado, ranch, and a few other fillings. It was very lackluster and ordinary. However my second visit was a lot better, the coffee (I got a caramel latte) was a pretty good drink, although syrup forward, and the foam was very thick and nice on top. I also loved the food much more my second time. I got the “lox on a bagel” which is a bit adventurous for my taste but I actually loved it. This however does not attest to the restaurants ability to provide deliciously cooked food because the dish was unassembled, and was a bunch of ingredients that I actually put together myself as I ate. Would still like to go back and see if I can find a menu item that is assembled and cooked by the restaurant that’s actually good. As for right now I think 4 stars just...
Read moreI've frequented this coffee shop before and was disappointed on my last visit. I stopped for their chocolate banana bread, which is a generous slice they give you at $4. It's definitely worth giving into the crave. The $12.95 lox bagel was quite the surprise on my $19 bill. When I asked the young man at the counter about the price of the lox bagel (since their prices aren't ALL posted), he said their prices just went up. Seriously? I never recalled spending that much on my previous visits! My order was to go. I sat there for 20 min waiting then finally had to go up to the counter to see what was taking so long. The young lady tried to tell me there were orders still in front of mine. Then magically appears from the back with my order. ??? All in all for $13, I got an over toasted bagel that was stale and too chewy to eat. Looks in the photo, but what a...
