Agave Mexican Grill & Cantina — Restaurant in Lafayette

I decided I was hungry for some chips and salsa to have with my beer at home so I chose Agave as it is on my way from work were I labor all day sweating in the sun doing back breaking work which as you could imagine builds up quite an appetite. When I went in I promptlyasked how much it cost. The chips and salsa was $2.50, big deal. I asked about the specials and decided that I would add on two fish tacos to go along with my chips and salsa, the waiters at the ffont said i did not have to pay for the chips and salsa if I was getting a meal. I went to the bar to place my order. When I was given the bill they charged me for the chips and salsa so I told the bartender that the watiers said it was free since I order a meal with them. He went and asked the manager, returned and told me if I was not dining in I  old not have the chips and salsa for free so I said I would gladly eat one of my tacos at there facility so I could get my chips and salsa for free. The bartender laughed at me and made a snide remark about how it was only $2.50. I am a student and I work hard for what little I have but beyond the cost it was the principal of someone saying one thing and then taking it back. He went to ask the manager and when he returned he said that it doesn't matter if I eat my meal in the restaurantor not, if I wanted  hips and salsa I would have to pay for it. I asked to speak to the manager twice in which the bartender told me that the manager flat out refused to speak with me. I had already put the salsa containers in my to go box and not thinking about it left with them. When I reached the parking lot I heard the bartender cussing and yelling at me from the door tell me "don't you ever f@#%ing do that again you piece of s%$t". When I went back inside to ask for the manager and bartenders name the other waitress told me they could not tell me because if they did they would be fired. This was all over $2.50 worth of chips and salsa that they give for free with meals and something I would have gladly payed for if that's what they would have told me up front. The way the manager and bartender handled this tiny situation was absolutely ridiculous, unprofessional and one of the most childish displays I have ever witnessed in the 26 of my life. Tea spilled, forced donations. One of my worst experiences at a restaurant. Started out with waitress spilling an entire cup of iced tea on me and my phone (Which, OK, mistakes happen. She apologized. My issue here is with management, as you will see). I went to the bathroom to wash what I could off and dry the rest. When I came back the manager was way more concerned about the table not being sticky and not at all concerned about the patron that tea was spilled on. I asked him for some paper towels to dry my phone off with and that was the only experience I had from him. No apology. Then mid meal a group of women came in, headed straight to our table and started singing with the expectation of a tip at the end. They handed over a book to sign with a lot of obviously fake donations - $20, $40, $60, etc. This is a common scam in larger cities. For one short half-song. I gave them $5 and they walked out of the restaurant. The manager watched all of this happen from the corner and never intervened or tried to fix any situation. I was a long time fan of their food. Used to frequent all their locations. Went to the Bertrand location for my birthday, brought a party of 7, not huge, but we were prepared to run up a good tab on food and drinks, and we had called ahead with a reservation. Waitress had an awful attitude and ignored us for half an hour, twice--I can overlook that. There was a fellow playing live music that was pretty bad and way too loud--I could overlook that, too. But when we finally got our first round of drinks, they had WATERED DOWN the 1800 Tequila shots I ordered. That is fraud, and I will not overlook that.
