My mom is 91 years old, she has had one hip replaced and is awaiting a second hip Replacement. She is an invalid, and is in constant pain. Although I have serious spinal issues, I am her 24/7 caregiver. Knowing these circumstances, I am sure that every decent person would agree, that only the most heartless, unscrupulous business would rip us off, especially on something as important as mattresses. The first mattresses that we purchased from this store were defective, they buckled terribly, sleeping on a camel would have probably been more comfortable. We called them asking them to replace their defective mattresses, several days later they sent out a delivery driver who tromped around our house wearing dirty, muddy shoes (that happened during each of the three times their delivery drivers came to our home) to take photos of the bulging mattresses. Several days later we heard back from them, saying they would do an even exchange, while patting themselves on the back for doing such a good deed, as replacing their defective mattresses, that we had been tortured trying to sleep on. Then they scammed us for another $159, for their good deed even exchange. The new mattresses were worst than the first ones were. My mom and I both have to get into the middle of our mattresses to be able to tolerate sleeping on them at all, which is very hard to do for my mom. I have become almost too incapacitated to care for her, as the result of the damage these mattresses are creating. We called to find out what they were going to do about these two defective mattresses, we are again being tortured with, it took them several business days to have the courtesy to return our call. Any reputable store would have immediately returned our money, and sent out their delivery drivers to get the defective mattresses. These heartless people said they would do nothing, which should be considered elderly abuse, for heartlessly scamming a 91 year old woman, an not showing an ounce of humanity, when they know she and her caregiver both have suffered for months, trying to sleep on their defective mattresses. Their delivery drivers really compliment their abhorrent after the sale customer service, the first time they delivered mattresses to our home, they just showed up, without calling first, without even having the courtesy to apalogize, or offering an explanation for their rudeness. I asked them if they could take the old mattresses out to the shed, which is about ten feet from the garage, one of the delivery men sarcastically said “I do not think so” then they opened the door to the garage and dropped them in the first available space. The last time when they delivered the second set of defective mattresses, the street in front of our house was blocked by construction, we only had one way in or out from our house, as the driver was leaving he knocked down a cable blocking our only entrance or exit, a construction worker stopped him and told him he had knocked down a cable, the driver did not care, he just kept going. Dealing with these people has been a non stop nightmare, both mentally...
Read moreThis is my first and only review of a business, but our experience has been so bad that I couldn't allow this to happen to another person. Our order has been one mistake after another...and after talking to the owner, I see that it starts at the top. His trite "I'm sorry" was almost laughable. I honestly don't think I've ever seen a more poorly run business with less concern for customer service. My wife and I ordered a bed, mattress, and box springs. They called to let us know that the mattress and box springs had arrived, but they ordered the wrong box springs. A couple of weeks later, we had to call to find out that our new box springs and mattress were sitting in their warehouse and they hadn't bothered to call us to schedule delivery. Then the delivery guys were pulling out of my driveway when I arrived home from work one day...they hadn't called as they said they would to give us a delivery window, and they were just going to leave without calling us. Then the temporary metal frame wasn't on the truck, so they set up our bed on the floor...seriously?!?! We just got a call that the bed was in, but the sales person (Maxine) had forgotten to include a support required for king beds. She said it wouldn't cost much, only another $75. Mind you, I've already spent well over $2000 on this bed and she wants to charge me another $75 for a mistake that she made?!?! I told her she can keep the bed and refund us our money...based on the experience thus far, I'm guessing it will take small claims court to get that credit back. My philosophy is this...I will be fiercely loyal to you and your business if you do what you say you're going to do, and do it for a fair price. There are a lot of furniture stores in this town...go find one that will do...
Read moreDO NOT. i repeat do NOT buy anything from here !!! Nick was the person who attended to us while I was looking for a new bed for my new home on the week of a sale. He explained the bed I purchased for $400 would come in brand new from the “Kokomo warehouse” and I would get a call when it’s ready to be picked up. I never received a call. I called yesterday 40 minutes before they closed, to be told by an older woman that I purchased a dresser and that she had no idea what I was talking about and someone would call me the next day by 11. I didn’t receive a call. I called this afternoon, to be told that I actually bought the floor model and that the manager Chris put my order in for a dresser in the “middle of the night accidentally” I was never told that I was buying the floor model and if I knew I was getting that, I would never have purchased it. I was apologized to and told I could come get the bed anytime. Told that they have no access to get a new one shipped to the location. I called later to explain I was under the influence that I was paying for a NEW bed and that’s what I should get. After arguing a bit, Chris finally said he could give me my money back, which is what I agreed to. On another hand while we were shopping Nick sat on a corner of a bed and cracked a piece of wood underneath the mattress, then continued to say it was the one that broke last week, and now your selling it to customers still for over $200??? Now why would anyone want to buy a floor model after experiencing that. Just look at these reviews in the first place. Such shitty customer service, thanks for my money back tho, should’ve been offered to me in the first place. Don’t get scammed...
