Going to Ollie's is always an adventure - the thrill of the bargain hunt! The deals are good, and the turn around on products is pretty quick. So if you see something you want, scoop it up, cause it might not be there next week. Which actually makes this a fun place to shop because every time you visit there is something new to see. Their book prices are AMAZING! I get hardcover books for $3.99 (and not obscure titles by never-heard-of-authors printed 10years ago) by some of my favorite authors of titles printed in the last 3 years. You name it, Ollie's has it. Although, don't go in expecting to find everything on your shopping list. Some weeks they have laundry detergent, other weeks zip-o-la. Keep an open-minded and an open shopping list. Everything is varying in brands and quality, so be an informed shopper when you're browsing and buying. Also, the Ollie's in house advertising is hilarious and always keeps my husband and friends entertained. The staff at Ollie's are friendly and eager to answer questions.
Note: the check out counter can be a lengthy process. Sometimes they will have only one or two registers open. Don't go in thinking you'll just run in and run out. Their registers seem to be the hold up - lots of errors that pop up as the items get scanned that they have to manually...

The last 5 or 6 times this kind of thing happened, you went out and showed your support for their ambitions by getting them some good quality gear to aid in their journey. An appliance, some new workout equipment, etc. A few days, weeks, or months later, the expensive device you got them has collected dust, and is an expensive reminder of something neither of you wants to talk about.
You love them, and always want to encourage their dreams, but your wallet can't afford the best every time.
I suggest Ollie's. You'll find everything here, and they are much cheaper. Many are remanufactured or overruns from the factory, but work well enough to get you through the toughest part of a new lifestyle or goal. If things go well and a high quality appliance is needed, then upgrade. But, for the times when things don't work out as planned, you spend $20 instead of $150 on it, so...
Read moreI couldn't believe how inexpensive this place was and how is everything here what's a dollar or two cheaper than what you would find at Walmart and at least three to four dollars inexpensive compared to Target or Kroger Payless.
I would definitely recommend this place to everybody without reservation I would like however to state that this place can be a little disorganized due to the customers leaving items from one shelf at another.
So as long as you are willing to spend 30 minutes to 1 hour and a place you are guaranteed to get some of the best deals ever. I was able to find an amazing knife set for under $5 but as I would have been charged at least 20 to $30 elsewhere I do not know how I had missed this shop while it was right in my backyard all along.
