Extremely disappointed in tonight’s service and food. My family of four went there tonight to celebrate my son's 15th birthday (it’s his tradition for the past three years). We were seated promptly and provided our drink orders, and then gave our dinner order after the waitress returned with the drinks. We ordered four dinners (2 burger meals and 2 chicken tenders dishes) and an appetizer - Fried Pickles. After she took our order, she returned to the table to say that they were out of the Naked Tenders - that’s what I ordered - so I told her the breaded were fine. The entrées didn’t take long to arrive, but the appetizer didn’t show up until we reminded her when she brought the rest of our meal. Once the food was on the table, it was clearly unproportional. We all ordered fries but two of the four plates had WAY more fries on them than the others, not to mention they were also cold. My husbands burger was barely warm and the fried pickles were lukewarm at best. The waitress came back around to deliver the bill, while we were eating, she didn’t ask how the food was - I would’ve told her then my disappointment. We finished the meal, stacked our plates and patiently waited 15-20 mins before we were able grab a different servers attention about payment. We tried flagging down our waitress, but she didn’t see us since she was bouncing around between 4 tables - they weren’t very busy at all; it’s Monday evening 6pm with no sports going on. When we handed the other waitress our payment, she told us that she’d make sure she gives it to our waitress and that she was the only one there; but we saw two other ladies bussing the booth behind us (which sat empty and dirty for 30-45 mins), another lady serving a large party while also delivering drinks to another table, and the lady we gave our payment to. After that, it took another 15 mins before she came back to give me back my credit card. All while our dishes remained, neatly stacked and obvious. Like I said, the food was cold and unporportional. The service was sub-par. I ate my meal and was still hungry when we left. When we’re spending $12-15/meal, $70 total before tip, that shouldn’t happen (and I’m not overweight or have a huge appetite). Regardless of my dissatisfaction, we still tipped our waitress 20% because she’s working for a living too, but next time we’ll go to the West...
Read moreI tried Buffalo Wild Wings for the first time earlier tonight. When I arrived there was no one watching the host stand to seat folks. Finally we tracked someone down and we were seated. I had ordered the Honey BBQ Chicken salad and a soft drink. When the salad was brought out to me I right away noticed that it was missing one key ingredient - The Chicken. I also expected the salad to not be spicy given it was a Honey BBQ salad. Also, the lettuce was not crisp and seemed that it had been prepared awhile before serving. I brought all this to the server’s attention and asked if I could just have an order of boneless wings like my nephew had ordered and even pointed to his. He instead brought about 6-8 dry pieces of chicken and said I could put it in my salad. I stressed that I was not happy with the salad for the reasons I mentioned above. He then said he would have the manager handle the issue. Again, he did not follow through on what he told me. He brought back even more chicken nuggets which he had squirted some sauce on some of them and this time told me that I only needed to pay for the salad and the nuggets were free. It was clear that we was not going to do what I’d ask and bring out the boneless wings like my nephew ordered. I I had also said that I would pay any difference in price. I ended- up just eating the chicken nuggets which were pretty try and not that flavorful.
I think what bothered me the most was the attitude that the waiter took and the fact that he did not listen to what I had requested since my original order was messed up. I notice when he walked away from me that he was shaking his head as if I was being a difficult customer. I’m visiting from CA, and I certainly would never re-visit any Buffalo Wild Wings again. I can’t remember the last time I did not leave a tip, and really dislike having to do that, but I strongly feel in this case it was warranted. I do hope this review might help other customers from having a similar...
Read moreI'm not the typical a*hole customer that leaves bad reviews every time something goes wrong with an order. I understand customer service in the food industry is challenging, especially post COVID. But I've had consistently bad service at the BWW at 2715 S Creasy Ln, Lafayette, IN for about 18 months. Yesterday will be my last visit to this BWW. I placed an order more than 24 hours in advance. When I arrived at the designated time, my order was not ready. So I waited about 10 minutes in the lobby to be greeted by an employee. There was a question about my order, so they either hadn't made it yet or they made it wrong and had to start over. I was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. During my wait in the lobby, I witnessed 5-10 different groups enter the restaurant, wait to greeted / served, but no one greeted them. They waited for a while and finally walked out. There is no organization whatsoever on what customers are supposed to do if they have a to-go order, if they want to sit at the bar or if they want a table. So, they just stand there, get frustrated and leave. A few people had to-go orders and waited for someone at the front ordering station, but no one was there. I even witnessed a group grab a couple sodas out of the soda fridge and waited to be seated. After waiting a long time, they just walked out with the unpaid sodas. Afterall, why not? It was an afternoon on a Sunday, so there was not a heavy rush; in fact the restaurant was quite dead. After waiting 30 more minutes (40 minutes total past my pickup time), I was given my order. The point of ordering ahead of time is so you do not have to wait 30-40 minutes in the restaurant for your order. While I was waiting, I went to use the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. There was standing water all over the floor. I'm really blown away that such a popular establishment could have gone downhill so...
