Walgreens — Local services in Lake Charles

This is THE WORST shopping experience I HAVE EVER HAD at a WALGRERNS, FIRST OFF, Ive just gotten released from hospital so I realize I'm not looking my best,though my husband is looking very nice, mind you EVERYTIME MY HUSBAND AND I SHOP, WE SHOP, NO MATTER WHERE IT IS,WE END UP. THEY HAD THE NERVE TO FOLLOW ME AROUND FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF LIKE I WAS A THIEF, MIND YOU MY HUSBAND IS A SARGENT with a LOCAL POLICE DEPT, A VERY HONEST GREAT MAN, SO OUR CART IS FILLED TO THE TILLS I WALK TO THE RESTROOM WITH A PRODUCT, WHICH IS ALLLLL THE WAY TO THE BACK RIGHT , so how the hell did he get there that fast (oh because hes still watching me),WELL HERE HE IS LIKE MAGIC ," MAAM I NEED YOU TO COME OUT THE RESTROOM," I was blown away, so I did as he asked set the product down while I used the restroom, then another man , starts laughing in my husbands face about him taking a photo of the sale/clearance price, NEVER AGAIN, AND I WILL BRING THIS HIGHER, THE NAMES WERE DARREELL, AND DUSTIN THE RUDE ONES, SO LADIES MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR HEELS AND DRESS YOUR BEST AFTER A HOSPITAL VISIT OR THE WAY THIS STAFF IS YOUR JUDGED FROM JUMP. AND BTW WE SPENT500.00 TONIGHT, SO YOUR WELCOME WALGREENS AND THANK YOU FOR A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DARREELL for laughing in my respectable, very awesome, no where near rude deputy of 25 years that risks his life ro protect yours everyday and DUSTIN, the same goes for you,for judging me before you never once asked me while following me around like you were convinced and ready to catch me stealing, IF I NEEDED HELP OR ASSITANCE.BTW, THE night MANAGER ALSO PULLED AN ASS MOVE, BY QUESTIONING THE SALE PRICE IN WHICH MY HUSBAND PHOTOGRAPHED, SHE SAT THERE WITH y"HE WELL I DON'T KNOW" BULLSHIT, to my husband, AND WHAT DO U KNOW THEY ALL RANG UP THE EXACT SALES PRICE ,DIDN'T THEY NIGHT MANAGER? The pharmacy today was the most unorganized and rude I have EVER experienced!!! My 17 year old went thru the drive thru to pick up her prescriptions and the young lady, Raven, was so nasty and rude it was HORRIBLE!! I was on the phone with my daughter the entire time and Raven kept telling her that they didn't have a prescription for her antibiotic nor her asthma medicine although my daughter had dropped the written prescription off 2 hours prior. She argued with my daughter and demanded my daughter to pull around while she "looked". When my daughter refused Raven THREATENED TO CALL THE COPS ON HER!!!! My daughter then got out and went inside and low and behold she had the medicine. I called and spoke with the manager, Lou, and he responded to me as if it wasn't that big of a deal. I truly felt unappreciated and as if my daughter was disrespected on multiple levels. Unfortunately Hobgood Pharmacy was closed at the time. We will continue to go to Hobgood Pharmacy for all of our medicine needs and we will change to CVS for all of our regular pharmacy store type needs from now on since this is the way managers treat...

7/15/2024 I went to pick up my prescription through Walgreens drive thru, after waiting 10+ min. in line they closed the window down when it was my turn due to their lunch time. Mind you, I was the LAST vehicle in the drive thru and it was not yet time for their lunch break. The pharmacist, KAYLA, would not give me my prescription and could not answer me as to why she was closing the window BEFORE her 1:30 break Kayla just hung up the phone receiver and walked off, guess she couldn't explain why she was making up random lunch times and violating the stores set lunch hours. I went inside the store to talk to the manager who was very nice and understood my frustrations, she pulled the camera and saw that I was refused service before the 1:30 lunch break. It would have taken Kayla one minute to give me my prescription and instead she chose to make me come back aware of my time already wasted waiting in the long line. Kayla is unprofessional and lacks customer service skills and I hope when Kayla visits stores and she is the customer, she is treated like dirt just like she treats her paying customers who provide her the...
