Lux Plates & Pours — Restaurant in Lake Charles

Went in on a Saturday for brunch- busy so understandable that there might be a bit of a wait. Sat down and ordered food/drinks, no refills or communication until AFTER 1.5 hours of waiting for food, then the server brings the wrong order. Then takes another 30 minutes says they are starting to work on the correct order. I cancel the order and the only type of compensation is a free “shot” for the wait. Paid my tab for the drinks and will not be back. Other people in my party had cold food and almost charged for items they did not receive. Then tried to give my wrong order to the customers at the next table. Left after 2+ hour wait...

I had such a great experience at Lux. The service was absolutely amazing, everyone was friendly, attentive, and made me feel really welcome from the moment I walked in. The food was outstanding, full of flavor and clearly made with care. On top of that, the atmosphere was fantastic, relaxed yet vibrant, the kind of place you actually want to hang out in for a while.
