Honestly I don’t even know why I keep trying with this place. I needed to change the tires of my car (especially the front right one since it was almost like a slick tire), I arrived at 5:15, I asked for the tires and the mechanic claimed right away it was too late, quoting him: “men it’s Sunday, it’s ALMOST 6pm, you have to make an appointment”, then I proceed to ask him if it would be possible just to change the front tires then, but again, he gave the same answer. I just want to be clear, the problem is not that I have to make an appointment, which the other mechanic gladly help me to book it, but the attitude pretty much all the employees at this auto care center seems to have. I get it, I work on a restaurant, I have to work Sundays as well and I know how it feels when you get last minute customers (last minute, not 1 hour and 45 minutes before closing) and if the mechanic would have told me “sorry, changing all your tires would takes us past the closing time” I would have understood it, you might get in trouble if you keep working past the schedule time or you’re not getting paid after closing time, that’s totally understandable, but it seems it’s easier to stop dealing with the customers and leave it up to your coworker and act like it’s not your concern. This is exactly the reason I avoid this auto care center at all cost, this is why I start doing my oil changes at take 5 since over a year ago, every time you come here you have to deal with a petty attitude and even rudeness, it’s just ridiculous. I’m really sorry for the good mechanics that work there, there’s a few who are truly polite and try help you as much as it’s possible for them, but the other guy’s attitude just overshadows the good...
Read moreI am surprised that nothing changes here. Terrible service and they have little clue on what they are doing. When I bought four tires on line and set an appointment for the installation, I showed up a half hour earl and was told that only 3 of the four tires were shipped. I rescheduled and waited for over four hours for them to complete the job. Now, two years later, my daughter ordered 4 tires for her car and when she went for the scheduled appointment was told that they were not in. She rescheduled and when she arrived. she was told that the tire were sent back because they had been there for over a month. Lie. They were there for one week because of their folly. They installed four other tires they had in stock but then she was unable to get refunded for the 4 original tires she paid for. She essentially bought 8 tires. She was told by cooperate that they could not issue a refund for the first 4 tires because they were marked as, "picked up by customer." My daughter spent a long time on phone calls between cooperate and the Lake Delton Tire center with both of them pointing the finger at the other. I should have listened to the advice I was previously given about this place. Live and learn. I'm filling a dispute with my credit card company as it seems that this is a last resort. They do not take any responsibility for their incompetence. Stay clear of...
Read moreWent to go change my single tire that was riding on a spare, provided my own tire and everything. The tire was brand new and had been in my storage for a while. Told over the phone there would be no problems with it. Get there, told I have to wait 4 hours for a change. There's only 2 other cars waiting. Got asked what my tire size was (which they dont need to do anyway for a rim change), I don't drive so I forgot off the top of my head and called someone to make sure it was correct really quick, and was met with some out of pocket comment from this old employee in a walker that "I bet you he didn't even bring the rim haha." Got it squared away and after waiting around for an hour, the same old guy randomly comes to us and tells me he won't install my tire because the "tread is too worn" after explaining they're brand new and I can't drive on the spare, he just said "Oh, well I don't care too bad" and waddled away on his walker. This is the saddest excuse for customer service I've ever seen. And honestly if this wasn't a formal setting and I had a less than better moral compass I would've gone completely feral on this old guy. Absolutely never...
