Well I never really had different thoughts on different stores more like categories (grocery, convience stores,pharmacies etc) then of course I separated by price range (most expensive to least expensive and quality of course).Then one day I was in this Ster Bros store specifically and aan associate from the meat dept approached me asking if I needed help ( prob had confusion written all over my face lol) Anyway it was at that moment Stater Bros went from bottom to top of the quality list in my eyes re: knowledge, quality, and educating the customer and to this very day in the back of my mind I still wonder if the send the employees thru special schooling for each dept. Idk why but before then I figured just another job to them but that day I learned which cuts of meat were most tender as well as which cuts have the most flavor and other facts all which were new to me completely but now I knew what's what and why things often tasted nothing like I thought they would lol. I had an entirely new respect for the employees, the store itself, the manager of that store specifically, and all in all I found myself deeply impressed about Stater Bros as a store in general although this particular location will always have an extra special place in my heart. Thank u for helping a customer with practically no knowledge in her 40s lol learn many facts that mostly I shoulda learned years and years ago. And with that information and the great memories I'll keep in my mind for yrs to come thanks again to u all who have helped along the way when I've been in store every time before and since my moment of clarity that very day. Ā Ā Ā Read moreNever shop when hungry, I completely lost my appetite when I seen a fly that was frozen stuck on steak. I did tell the butcher and his assistant to check out the bar. Yes they both confirmed that there was a fly frozen on the steak. I took pictures šø Then the worker took out steak š„© out of the bar and left it on the table. I donāt believe that they threw it away. It was just sitting there. The workers werenāt doing their job while they were just still continuing to talk and laugh in an unprofessional manner when thereās customers shopping for their food. Continuing to talk and joke around while working is not professional especially if theyāre handling meat of any kind. On the other side of bakery. The Tres leches slices of cake was not fresh, strawberries were old. The Baker mentioned that the cake š° been sitting there for five day and short staff in their department. Stater brothers...
Ā Ā Ā Read more5/21/23 - I was told by the young man behind the counter (meat cutter) when I asked him to cut my pork ribs in to cubes that it is their company policy that they can only cut / slice the pork ribs once (though I comment my knife will not cut through those ribs) and would be fired if he does it. Though he had the machine slice the pork ribs once he could have it sliced two more times then my ribs will be in cubes. The Asian and Mexican grocery store does it for me, why canāt Stater bros do it? Your web page stated that your ācommitted to full service, custom cutā so⦠what happen? Is this true what he said?
